Going by the inflation, recession and whatever thing they use to qualify this hardship we are facing in this country at the moment, how do you most salary earners cope? When I say salary earners, I mean those earning 50k, 40k, 30k, 25k and some even 25k to 10k. Not you that's bagging 100k and above, you be oil worker jor. So, I see most families where the man being the head of the family, is a private school teacher. Of course we all know how much they are payed nothing. Same with most company or factory casual workers. How do you guys manage to cope with family at this crucial time? It's not like I'm earning big or own any business, but one good job in month will cover me for some times. Since I'm not married yet, it just myself and my aged mum that I think of. So how do you manage your 30k that it will last you for a month, Assuming your extra teaching after school will cover your transportation to and from working place? 61 Likes 10 Shares |

For a single person, it's fine. For a married person, it's a suicide mission. For someone with a single source of income, it's just an event away to having financial problems. 135 Likes 10 Shares |

I've always been asking people questions that how do people that earn less cope in this harsh economic situation? Even 100K now looks like nothing. You can only feed the family and have nothing left, not to talk about those earning 50K and less. Things are madly expensive and this people in government even finds it hard to pay minimum wage. You go to the market, 20K is gone and you are yet to get anything.... How about those with kids with school fees to pay? It's really crazy out there... 182 Likes 12 Shares |

Yet to get a job though. I am a web designer/developer, also a graphic designer but getting clients has been a huge problem this year. I see a lot of folks getting jobs and then I wonder what exactly am I doing wrong. Recently sat for an online exam for an outsourcing firm (VLA). Yet to get my result or invite. Please, who knows a thing or two about VLA exams? I am seriously confused about what next to do For the main time, I'm still hustling at Alaba int'l market. Check my signature, please. Thank you 11 Likes 5 Shares |

gurunlocker: Salaries close to 200k isn't sufficient in today's economy let to talk of the very low figures. One would have to find other means of income just to stay afloat.May God help us 21 Likes 1 Share |

Franckelv230:I wept the day a graduate told me she earns N21,000 as a teacher! I have seen a husband and wife work in the same private school How them won take cope Na to incur debts and go on borrowing spree hoping to find another better job Still go on hunger strike, living within your means no be for this matter Imagine paying for shelter (even a room), feeding your kids, transportation, paying school fees miscellaneous e.t.c from N21,000 It's terrible! Nigerians are roughed men! I give it to them!!! Many of these private schools can afford to pay a better salary but instead they prefer to buy properties and keep building schools at the detriment of their staffs If the government can help families by regulating some of these private schools also in terms of salaries, it will be a step forward!!! Modified: iragbmite:Everyone's need differs! You might be able to stay without a companion, others might not be able to do that Same way some find it easy to dupe via Yahoo and other forms while others would rather go hungry than to consider it! It's all in the mind, it's all about individual differences!!! 86 Likes 5 Shares |

If you are earning less than 100k, please get a side hustle, we are now in a digital World, you can start someother things without affecting your current job ,dropshipping is an example, just create an online store, you are good to start without any kobo. May God help us in this country that seems there is no hope. 29 Likes 2 Shares |

Franckelv230: I'm a private school teacher, a husband and father of three that earns just #25,000 and pays tithe out of it. sincerely, the pay is peanut but it takes only the grace of God in sustaining us as sometimes I believe God touch the heart of few friends (2) who on their own accord sends 2-3k ones in a month or two... life in Nigeria is pathetic but I'm optimistic that it will surely gets BETTER someday. it's better to keep working with the little peanuts than becoming an armed robber 90 Likes 5 Shares |

Some of them will keep stealing (not armed robbery). They will sell office equipment, and ask for and accept bribes just to survive. Most of them who don't do it don't have the opportunity. You cannot pay a man with family peanuts, expect him not to steal in his office and turn around and say you are fighting corruption. The joke is on you. With high inflation rate, minimum wage should not be less than 100k. 66 Likes 6 Shares |
