Large countries like Tanzania need some form of federalism or devolution otherwise expecting Magufuli to cover a country the size of South Africa supervizing everything is crazy.

Tanzania badly need devolution. And so does DRC congo.

Otherwise right now they are just too big to be governed by all knowing central gov. Their little road network of 80K can be explained by lack of devolution or federalism...if each province had more autonomy..they would identify rural access roads as priority and fix it.But now their Dar gov has identified railway and power project....leaving the rest of the country a wilderness.

Is economic system, economic structure and general make up of Tanzania and Kenya the same?

Because it works everywhere; it empower people to make decision on their local needs; and it working in South Africa; because the Boer in Capetown can better run their town - than ANC in Joburg- if they want.

How do you know the railway line won't pass through those routes?

Besides, it's not going to be built to connect to Obudu cattle ranch (better than any tourist sites in Kenya combined) only but to connect from Lagos seaport to Calabar seaport after passing through some of the most important states and richest cities in Nigeria.
