TAO11: I just read it over again, in fact I saw it as a big contradiction when he claimed that Ilorin does not belong to the Aláàfin yet claimed at the same time that he and others in Ilorin are from Ọ̀yọ́ |

TAO11: Dont need to prove meaning of a word in language u dont understand. Ere Eko means Eko area.. Ereko church means Eko area church.. that's Edo language.. its impossible to remove Edo lordship over Lagos from lagos history.. |
Re: The Name Lagos, Was Called Ekonunuame By The Benins by TAO11(f): 1:53pm On Apr 05, 2021 |
davidnazee:It is “Ereko”. Check the spelling again fraudulent Benin boy.

TAO11: And what did I write afonja? btw what does Ereko mean in Yoruba? |
Re: The Name Lagos, Was Called Ekonunuame By The Benins by TAO11(f): 2:11pm On Apr 05, 2021 |
davidnazee:The Yoruba word is “Ereko” (one word). As a fraudulent Benin boy, you wrote Ere-Eko. Therefore, you’re a fraud! ———————— • Even “Eko” was named by the Yorubas ~ D’Avezac 1845, p. 26. • Also, the island has been named “Eko” before any immigrant moved there to live. ~ Alan. C. Burns, 1929, p. 44. In other words, the ‘Benin-named-Eko’ idea is a big fat myth. So, it’s a lose-lose for Benin frauds like you. 9 Likes 3 Shares

TAO11: It has long been established that you don't know, you lack historical knowledge.. What does Ereko mean in yoruba? I told u it's an Edo word and its meaning.. |
Re: The Name Lagos, Was Called Ekonunuame By The Benins by TAO11(f): 2:26pm On Apr 05, 2021 |
davidnazee:No, you didn’t tell us how “Ereko” is an Edo word. So do that now, fraud. What does “Ereko” mean if it’s an Edo word? ————————— On the other hand, I have already spelt out the meaning of “Ereko” — if only you weren’t dead-scared to read. https://www.nairaland.com/6482972/name-lagos-called-ekonunuame-benins#100402294 Going forward, make sure to always read the very comments you spend your time typing a reply to. Doing that would help to make you appear less dumb. 4 Likes

Ekoname ko, Ekotitle ni. Can you tell us how Benin is forged from a Yoruba word and How oranmiyan made Igidomigodo jetisson Ogiso system to Oba. Before I go, can you once again tell us what oba, ogun, oya, iyooba means in Edo language. Those tales of "it's red" "it's shinny" and of course "shinning Seki" seem interestingly boring. Can you tell it again in a more plausible way. 3 Likes |

Quelme: Yorubas are also the kingmakers of Benin itself. The Oba of Lagos Territory is between idumota and Obalende on Lagos Island and doesn’t even include Ikoyi on the other half of the Island. Lagos Island belongs to the Yoruba Awori Aromire Family who also own parts of Ojora 2 Likes |

rhektor: Why would there be an Oba in Ilorin when Afonja was already an Aare Oona Kakanfo which was a Position that was next to the Alaafin himself in Position,Authority and Power The Aare Position was already higher than almost all Ethnic Oyo Obas themselves except Alaafin When Kurunmi was Aare Oona Kakanfo there was a Yoruba Proverb Kurunmi pe O , Oun lo d’Ifa Kurunmi is calling you , and you are still there calling on your Gods Meaning: Kurunmi is to be feared more than your Gods you are calling on |
