Gerald Orukwa: Setting records straight on J.B.C Udem’s frivolous open letter to Gov. Ugwuanyi over ESUTH A response to this highly convoluted, mendacious, insulting and hate-filled write up by a presumably faceless Dr J.B.C Udem would not have been necessary, but for the condescending language, despicable, unsavoury and sundry allegations laid against His Excellency, Governor IfeanyiUgwuanyi which postured him as part of the problem in ESUT.https://dailypost.ng/2021/04/07/gerald-orukwa-setting-records-straight-on-j-b-c-udems-frivolous-open-letter-to-gov-ugwuanyi-over-esuth/ 1 Like

Let their be equity and fairness in appointment.. I Am from Nsukka and I hate how our people are been seen in Enugu.( over gra-gra, becox the governor is from our side) and it shouldn't be so, the Governor is governor for the people of Enugu state and not for Nsukka people. The governor should do the rightful and restore peace in the institution and Enugu state at large. God bless Enugu state. 10 Likes |

We are our greatest problem as a people, until we start holding each other accountable nothing will change.. It's easy to pick out some persons and heap all the blame on them while we hide behind those feeble excuses.. We really need to get our values corrected as a people else even going our separate ways won't do us much good because at the end of the day inept individuals would still be at the helm of affairs. Ethinic jingoism in Nigeria is too much. I pray that one day, we will surpass it and leave as one nation under God. |

From my experience in UNN I can UDI people are highly political more than any other people in Enugu state. Nebo (udi) finished his tenure and replace Bato (another idi man) |

I can't believe dat someone of his stands can think so low as to ridicule other people's ability to think beyond his reasonings and view to ethnic distrust in the institution affairs.. i believe the piece did't mention whom is the currect rector of the inst of mangt and tech.. and his tribal attitude.. but he left noon of the previous Emeritus out of the list.. well wat do i knw much on institution happenings.. But this i knw.. The cap is to be given to whom it fits to wear and nt whom it is.. itz turn to wear.. |

Why the hatred for Nsukka people in Enugu? Even the FCC commissioner representing Enugu; Ginika Tor Williams hates Nsukka people to the extent that she never helps anyone from Nsukka to secure FG jobs. 1 Like 1 Share |

They are in bitterness because Nsukka people are getting appointed into some government positions. Forgetting that Nsukka people were quiet when they were enjoying everything in the past. This same udi people abuse our governor anyhow, simply because he is from Nsukka. Anyways, We are going to jettison this zoning shit, and Enugu North will produce the next governor again. Let's see how they will cry. 1 Like |

Enugu state people are the most biased people in South East. They rather appoint their incompetent indigene over a competent non indigene. They've destroyed the Higher institutions in that state, look at UNN they've turned it to Nsukka University, they don't even allow non indigene to head any post in the school. Go to UNN and you will be ashamed that a whole University of Nigeria is a mess, they've used "Onye Nsukka" to destroy it, no progress, no development. Nsukka people with their backward mentality. |

Vivuch:Your comment is heavily skewed. How many past VCs in UNN are of Nsukka origin? The current VC is not from Nsukka (Anambra state to be precise) as well as top officials in the University. I implore you to read and know your facts before commenting. 1 Like |

I'm disappointed that everything about Nigeria is always politicised, Educational sector managment should be strictly on merit and competency not useless zoning of a thing. I'm still proud of my Alma mater(#ESUT#Geology and mining) |
