AOB1: So your total package is N120k/month with ur life constantly on the line?. Bros, if u can afford a car, buy it, resign, do ehailing while searching for another job. U will make 120k in 2weeks without stress and sleep or do whatever u like the rest of the month. 5 Likes |

AOB1: Boss this call is urs, every business or job have their down sides, can u stand the rain, that should b ur first question. if you have ur car already, take a break from work 1 or 2 weeks, try your strength and see if u can stand this and sum the balance up. What is the state of your car? How good are you when it comes to putting 2k together, u may gross 80k and don't see 20k in ur account, Lagos money... but if I see 120k job now, without risk, the only reason I'll do it is because of indriver, only legend will understand. 4 Likes |

AOB1: If ur safety is not an issue, and the job is guaranteed, then I wouldn't say u should resign. U can buy the car and do ehailing as a side hussle. I guess when u aren't on assignment u have more time to urself, so u can drive more to cover up when that extra 65k is not coming in. But with ur life at risk and nothing tangible commensurate to the risk coming in, u are better off leaving the work. 2 Likes |

Kozil2:Hello. I will advice you to start contributing to the thread in your own little way instead of this message you keep repeating. It will increase your chance of getting a car from the thread cuz if I have a car to give out I would choose someone well known here over a stranger. My opinion though 11 Likes 2 Shares |

AOB1:I'll make it very brief. Putting myself in your shoes, if I have money to buy a sound tokunbo car and have a little left for car registration and a month upkeep then I'll resign and start ehailing business. That 55k can be made in a week with hardwork and luck. 1 Like |

AOB1: No job comes easy, that's why I'm being careful outrightly advising you to quit your job. If you already have a car and can take one or two weeks away from your job to test ehailing, why not? Sure you can make that 120k or more from ehailing but it doesn't come easily, can you cope with ehailing is another issue hence the need to test water first I don't know your job, but if it is that life threatening as you said, the pay is shitty and I will quit since I have another option (ehailing). Only quit if you're going to be owner driver on the platform 6 Likes |

AOB1: Don't quit your job. If you can afford to buy a car, buy it & put it on rental or HP and stick to your job. Get all the required documents, insure the car comprehensively and do your due diligence on the person you'll be giving the car to. People are built differently. There are folks who have been on the job for over 3years without any major illness & there are some who are battling ill health due to the stress ehailing subjected them to. I'm not sure you're ready to drive 3years straight in Lagos. Reason that matter abeg! Also, rumour has it that LASG are planning on rolling out SUV & cars for Ehailing. Even if you eventually lose the job or decide against it later, you would have saved a substantial amount from your salary & rental fee. The joy you have when you know that a certain amount would be credited into your account monthly is soothing. 3 Likes |

@AOB1 If you decide to leave your current job today, do you have enough money on ground to buy a sound car and still have half of the cost of the car in savings? Don’t be too quick to resign from your present job, e-hailing (especially in Lagos) will test you on all grounds. You have to be ready for it. Please don’t let the dashboard fool you, the high earners put in so much work to achieve what you see on the dashboard. How good is your driving skills? Are you street smart ? If you eventually decide to resign from your present job and go into e-hailing please have a back up plan, start a side hustle; you’ll have enough time to plan your life and discover yourself. For you to succeed in e-hailing, your major tool is the CAR. This will determine whether you will succeed or not, pls make no mistake when choosing one. I wish you all the best sir. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Pearl1910: On a normal good day, I can't take a 120k job, but driving does not stimulate my fascination again. Some how I miss d office setting for the politics, meetings, pressure and colleagues, no colleagues in this hustle, abi should I see Felicity001 as a colleague? Presently with indriver, I may step out when night fall and still make some tin reasonable, less stress, free roads. So with such job, it is still a win win for me. 5 Likes |
