Spotting can be a sign of pregnancy and also a sign period is about to come. I've had 26 days cycle for 3 months but this month it was 30 days, my period is between 26-30 days. Why do you want to start taking clomid? Has it been confirmed that you don't ovulate?

As God will have it, I relocated fully to be with my husband. We tried again during my next ovulation in February but I was heavily disappointed. My husband and I didn't see till the end of March but he came back just when I was ovulating and I was sooo hopeful that this timing was perfect. My af was supposed to start on 14th April after I ovulated on 30th March. I didn't see any sign of my period even till 14th. I was just praying and hoping not to be disappointed but unfortunately, I was heavily disappointed this morning 15/04/2021 when I felt a wetness . lol and behold, it was my period. I cried so much in my heart, I didn't even know why.
But my major concern is that my husband is not steadily around. The nextime I will see him is 11th June and it's a bad timing for us.

I need your advice on any possible cause of this delay. I know it's too premature to worry but sometimes I can't help but wonder how someone can get raped in an uncomfortable place just once and the person will get pregnant.

My dear,relax. Remove anxiety far from you cos it doesn't help conception. Relax and enjoy your husband. You can go to hospital and run basic test once your union is 6 months and no pregnancy though some doctors will say 1 year without conception. Do relax,before you know, you'll conceive

You're welcome ma'am. I think you should try using a opk or tvs. These are the surest way to tell if and when you are ovulating. CM may not always be accurate like most doctors would say.

Pls who knows an affordable place I can do hsg....the last I did before ttc showed one tube was blocked after battling PID....now that I've been trying for a while I'm afraid both might now be blocked....... kindly recommend affordable ones

Guys pls respond...which should I go for sonohsg or hsg...and who has used union before...are they good??

If you are in Lagos. Google sound scan diagnostic center. At Coker. They are good. 15k is the cost for hsg.

Put your mind at rest
It comes when you are not even expecting
You can also get the ovulation stick to track your fertile period to ensure you are meeting at the right time

Since they are the same price i would suggest sonohsg as it is a more detailed and more recent addition for intrauterine evaluation.In sono the clinic use only saline not dye and this eliminates the risk of reaction incase you are allergic to dye.

I will call the sink more of discomfort and less of pain especially when the probe is going in and out.If yours was “hell”maybe your body does not agree with the dye,i was screaming and the doctor had to stop and sedate me turns out i had an allergic reaction.

Take paracetamol an hour before and when the procedure starts take deep breathes and don’t tense your body as this action causes your pelvic muscles to tightens around the probe and you fell pain.please stop running and look at the bigger picture even picture your unborn beautiful baby waiting if it helps.It is for your own good and will last 15minutes maximum.

If all else fails pay extra for sedation.

If its the one in Lagos (yaba) I have and their services are okay..... But tell the matron to give u pain relieve injection first..... Cos I was given the injection after the scan....

Taking the injection before the scan will make the pains more bearable than taking it after the scan.... What I did was sonohsg

One week is too early to show symptoms and even most test brands might not show positive as your body needs to produce enough hcg.
Best you do a blood test or use clear blue first response home kit to know for certain it beats being anxious.Best of luck.

The last hsg I did, the radiographer had to check their machines if they were working well. He even left me to check their control room. This was because I was calm throughout the procedure. Twice that I have done hsg I didn't feel much pain, just discomfort.
