It's okay bro, not really dragging or arguing. Just trying to analyze issues from a general perspective.

And actually your profit was N2500 from that 5k. Don't forget the 2k fuel that was used, at least 1k for miscellaneous on top of the 5k after all the running around. How much come remain? Bolt almost made more from you than you did for yourself with the N1,600 they took from the 8k. That's why one will not see the money after netting 10k a day. Na only about 2k go dey your pigeon hole. You will be wondering where the money had gone.

I'm just using the earnings that you posted as a case study which will be helpful to all of us going forward. Don't take it personal please.

Look at the breakdown again. 5k profit , profit is less bolt commission and fuel. All which running around? In 4hrs only. Some people can sleep afternoon sleep and before u know it its 4hrs, u just seat with friends gisting and drinking.

But I get your point perfectly, any discuss I follow up is when people generalise falsely, which is capable of discouraging or leading others astray. No offence taken, just an attempt to clear a wrong notion.

We were all here last year when we doubted Godfather10's Oct/Dec earning challenge, but some drivers proved it was achievable. We also recently doubted a certain earning and kanuisgoat proved he did and was achievable, pearl has also proven.

What anyone can achieve through ehailing is relative and shouldn't be generalised. One man's highest daily earning ever in ehailing is another man's average daily earning.

May God water our grounds wherever we plant our seeds.

Before you leave your corporate job for E-Hailing there are a few questions you need to answer.
1. Do you love driving? - Driving has to be fun & a hobby to you if you must enjoy the job.
2. Do you ha e the strength for long hour driving?
3. How well can you manage your temper.
4. How well can you handle your own PR?
5. Do you have the mental confidence to manage crisis?
6. How tolerant are you?
7. Are you sure you're physically fit?

The answer to these questions will go a long way to help you determine whether or not you're going to be able to handle the E-Hailing hustle.
The truth is, anyone can survive the hustle if they are really determined to.
100% on point.
This ehailing hustle is all about motivation and determination. If you don't have what is motivating you and the determination to meet your target, you'll notice you'll just be working to cater for your immediate needs only

Don't quote me out of context and don't make sweeping statements or generalisations. Why did u add except? What I have accomplished in ehailing in 5yrs, I couldn't do it if I stayed in my paid employment for 10yrs...
If pay is good why not, but anything less than what am currently earning, I rather continue my driving and have peace of mind, flexibility and freedom. I can't go and sit in an office and month end u pay me 100k or 150k or even 200k when I can make that in weeks. But las las all man for himself sha. Do what works for you, No query my own, cos I no query ur own.
you make 100k a week? As in, you put 100k on the table every week?

One thing that I just know is that you can not know the accurate temperature of a river until you deep your leg into it. Whatever the temperature is, it affects us in different ways. The same water that you think is very cold might seem warm to me.
Right now, I've not driven for about a year because I got tired of the intricacies of the job. The insults, the extortion by lastma & Co, the traffic, etc. I just got tired & the lock down made me realize how stressful and mentally draining the job had been for me. By the time the lock down was over, I was too mentally lazy to go back to the hustle.

Driving can never be anybody’s hobby in Lagos
With the bad roads and bad unpredictable traffic.

I didn't ask about the pay.
Everybody here knows some Uber drivers saves 80- 100K+ monthly but driving round Lagos in this back breaking traffic & hot sun takes a toll on their health.
taaaa which hot sun, tinted car with chilling AC from morning to when you decide to off your app. uber us way better than some office work.

Why will you see 80 on the dashboard and still expect to have 80 at hand?

Did you not pay bolt and buy fuel?

I already expect to have 12k at hand for every 20k on the dashboard and most times I see my 12k. When I don't see it, that means I carried a lot of people on promo and its only a matter of time before bolt pays me my money.

Sometimes I even see more than the 12k when I carry those without promo.

So when I see 100k on the dashboard, of course, I'm not expecting to have it at hand.
