Omo it seems I’ll start looking for other alternatives oh, because I don’t understand again.

Only God knows what the score will be when they finally do the FSW draws. I’m on 470 but currently evaluating my degree which should be ready in July.

The score no go don enter 500 so? Now that I decided to leave this God forsaken country, ehn!!! sad
per your last paragraph, I’d normally want to act like an overzealous Christain and say “My country is not God forsaken”

but where is the lie? They asked Baba what plans he has now he has returned, he said ‘continuity’...cheesy

Goodmorning House, please would I need to evaluate both my bachelor's degree and Masters degree with WES for the EE? Or only the Masters can suffice?

2. Please does anyone know if an MSc from NOUN is recognized by the ECA?
Thank you in anticipation of your response.

Update to my Enquiry for those who graduated from NOUN.
WES evaluated my MSc as a Canadian equivalent of a Masters degree and I have received the soft copy.
And I did not need to physically visit NOUN to request for transcript nor did I pay anyone to facilitate. Every thing was done online.
Transcript was sent exactly 9 days after I paid online without any external intervention.

You have been told several times Wes doesn’t evaluate Nigeria llb as a professional degree. If you like appeal, the decision stays same.

This made me laugh really hard cheesy

Okay thanks, why I asked was that the document section says we should submit photocopies of our original documents. Thanks

Photocopy? Wes or other evaluation bodies don't accept transcript from individuals, it most be sent directly from your school with the seal unbroken. It most be original.

I don't know if someone who understands this issue has responded. What I have read, in paraphrase is:

"You were sent an email in January asking if you could travel before the end of January, to which you responded but IRCC did not respond. In March, you were issued COPR, somewhere around March 18. However, your profile now reads "Documents Expired", in April?.

My question is, when did you notice the Documents Expired Status? How far apart from when COPR dropped?

This is to put the timeline in proper order.

I contacted the person that used ces, she said lawyers are supposed to attach their call to bar certificate and qualifying certificate too, even though ces doesnt assess it cuz they usually refund the money paid for it, they need to see it to be sure that you are licensed to practice law. I have sent mine now and I'm hopeful they'll reevaluate mine. Thanks

quote author=Ruthiegal post=100858723]Errrm if you graduated from the uk, then you can’t compare the evaluation from llb in Nigeria which was evaluated as a professional degree. You would have to look for someone who graduated from a uk university. There are factors considered before the evaluation of a degree and probably your uni didn’t meet.

Wes (at at the last time I checked) evaluates LLB from India universities as a professional degree while that from Nigeria is evaluated as bachelors.

I also do not think adding documents gotten from another country and evaluated as professional degree helps your case because the factors involved are totally different.

I hope it works for you.

I have a friend who evaluated with CES and only attached his llb and sent same and got a professional degree equivalency. Although his application took close to 6 months before it was out. I guess it’s different strokes for different folks. I personally I am using both IQAS and ces to avoid any disappointment from CES.
I am also assessing my degrees(llb and bl) with NCA for the assessments needed to take to requalify so I can’t be attaching and reattaching. Lol
May God help us all.

I did not send my call to bar certificate I recalculated my CRS score . If I had band 8 overall and my husband band 7 and proffessional degree I’d get 495 with my
spouse . But if I get evaluated as normal degree with band 7 and hubby band 7 I’d get 475 . Hubby has a masters I’m the primary applicant I am less than 30 with two kids and I have a sibling in Canada . I’m just patiently waiting for the ECA

Good day all,

Please I need some clarity. I hope someone will be kind enough to answer these questions:

1. For someone whose step-sibling is a permanent resident in Canada, what documents will be required to prove the relationship?

2. If accepted to come to Canada, must the immigrant stay in same province as the step-sibling?

3. Are there other obligations expected of this step-sibling towards the immigrant both now and in the future?

Have you checked/combed your email box, including Junk to be sure they didn't send you an email that you missed? If you can't find anything, you probably need to contact them to appeal. I'm not an authority in this area, but I just think you should contact them and table your case.

I saw here a while ago that it’s about 5k per hour, but his website says he offers discounts when you book multiple hours at a go. He has a max group class size of 4, so if we have a group of 4 we can further split the cost down.

By my calculation, we need a total of 420hours including test prep.
That's really high
