They are talking about your certificate not your transcript. Wes has a space you can upload a scanned copy of your certificate on their website, I don't know about others. Don't send your original certificate if you want to use a courier. 1 Like 1 Share |

RetiredAdult: Hi everyone, further to this question I asked a couple of days ago, my reason for asking is that, my LLB is currently being evaluated by IQAS, I’m preparing for IELTS. Say I max out IELTS, my CRS score is still about 456 because I only have 2years working experience. I’ll need to have had 3years working experience before my CRS score can be about 481. Before I get to that bridge, I’m just wondering if there’s anything that can be done about it. Any idea/help would be greatly appreciated. |

RetiredAdult: Does your work experience match the requirements in the first link? Can you get a letter from your employer that has a job description that matches your chosen NOC and all other details as required by IRCC as written in the second link? https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers.html#skilled https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/applications-received-on-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html Why do you think you may not be able to use this work experience? Please can someone advise on how much it will cost to take any French language test? such as TEF including tutorials. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by ShoeShineGuy: 8:54am On Apr 18, 2021 |
ZIKEYBOY11:The cost of TEF presently is NGN190k and like IELTS it's ever increasing because of the crippled Naira. Cost of training/tutorial depends on your current level in French, your dedication/rate of assimilation and of course the tutor you intend to engage their service. Thus, for a complete novice, I'll advice you budget at least 300k. Summarily, you should be looking at NGN500-600k in total if you're depending on paid tutors for training and writing the TEF Canada exam. You can however achieve your aim at a way lesser estimate if you're a fast learner and source for free materials online to augment your learning. I attached a screenshot of someone I know who paid last week for the TEF Canada exam to confirm the current price. Below is a community of those who have had to learn French/ in the past and are currently learning with a view to writing TEF Canada. https://www.nairaland.com/4672912/all-tef-candidates-canada-immigration All the best! 6 Likes

GraciousWords: Hello. I have gone through the links attached. Yes my job experience matches my NOC and my employer can give me a reference letter to back this up. What my question was, is that, doesn’t your years of experience affect what your CRS score will be? As it this moment, I only have about 1year 6months work experience and because of this, my CRS score is low. I’ve seen that I’ll have to have upto 3years work experience to have a high CRS score. Or does it not matter as long as the years of experience I have now matches my chosen NOC? I hope you understand my issue. |

Midex88: As you have been advised. Upload a colored scan of your MSC certificate. Don’t bother about the BSc. They won’t evaluate it. They will treat only your Msc as soon as you send the certificate. I made the same mistake as you, putting my bsc and msc but as soon as they received and verified my Msc documents my evaluation was finalized even without sending all my bsc documents. I was delayed by my undergrad school and was busy hustling to get the transcript as I had submitted my statement of result/certificate for the bsc. but I received my complete evaluation soon after. A friend of mine also had the same experience. You don’t need to message them to remove it but if it’ll make you sleep better at night go ahead and message them. |

RetiredAdult: Having 3 years work experience will give you higher CRS compared to 1 year as you have already observed in bold.....so years of work experience affects your CRS. Carefully read this link on the determinants of CRS. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/criteria-comprehensive-ranking-system/grid.html Page 1 will be very useful to digest also. 1 Like

When filling your profile on Wes, it seems you included your B.sc from Illorin and now that's what they are expecting you to send. The error you made was that you should have only filled in evaluation for your msc only without in kudikg your B.sc... I don't know if that can be rectified again cos if not, you'll have no choice other than to have your transcript sent from your uni in Illorin. Modified : Upload your Msc certificate on your Wes portal, you'll be fine Midex88: |

I think he’s referring to visitors visa if I’m not mistaken because most of the applications for visitors visa have been on hold and not been attended to since the first wave of COVID. He didn’t frame his question properly. ednut1: |

Although my first Ielts in February was a mess, I got my WES ECA report yesterday even in the midst of covid lockdown and NASU strike in 4 months. A proffesional degree and less than 30 yrs of age. As someone once said in this thread, you have to celebrate every step in this journey. God's grace I will conquer ielts. God be praised. 8 Likes |

RetiredAdult: Law school is full-time study, how do you plan to convince them you worked during this period? You said you have 2 years working experience, is NYSC experience inclusive? |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Ikepooni(f): 2:52pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
Midex88: I don’t know their email. Check their website. But don’t worry yourself too much, you are not in any trouble. Once you send in your msc certificate you will see that your evaluation would be completed. |

GraciousWords: This is the point i have been trying to make all along. And now, to my original question, is there anyway to go about claiming three years work experience? Like for example, claiming to have been doing a part time job while in law school. Has anyone ever tried this route, did it work? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by RetiredAdult: 3:05pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
Abdomox: Yes, NYSC is inclusive. To answer your question, I don’t know how to convince them. It’s why I’m asking for suggestions on anyway that anyone might have tried which has worked in the past. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by ShoeShineGuy: 5:14pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
RetiredAdult: Bro/sis, if you don't have up to 3years experience it means you don't have up to 3years. No one will openly come out to tell you they manufactured job experience out of nowhere as it is against the rules of IRCC. Moreso, no 2 cases are ever processed the same way. So some might have done it in the past and gotten away with it while some might have not been that lucky. If you're desparate to earn those job experience points you're talking about and you know a supposed "smarter" way out then it should entirely be your decision to give it a try, not anyone in a quite popular and open group like this where VOs could comb for trends. My advice though is don't try something that will most likely jeopardise your ambition to relocate to Canada. Some will merely get those points deducted on the basis of the VO's inability to verify the job experience(s) in question and sometimes end up with just rejection. Others who are however caught red-handed to have purposely misrepresented information they supplied often get slammed with years of ban from anything Canada Immigration. Try and explore other legit sources of getting points such as maxing out IELTS and learning French. Utilise this time of waiting for FSW draws resumption to achieve those. Page 1 will offer better explanation on the entire process than I can ever do. 6 Likes |

RetiredAdult: There's no way around it. You can't be in full-time program and still be working full-time. Advice: Write IELTS and stay in the pool while you garner more experiences to have 3 or more years. FSW score might drop when it returns. So don't wait to have 3 years experience before creating EE profile. 1 Like |
