But come to think of it. FIFA and UEFA are against the formation of the ESL.

But same FIFA is in support of the formation of the African Super League (ASL) for Clubs. Each club is required to pay about 20million dollars over a period of five years to be part of it.

So what's the deal? FIFA saying no to this Super League format in Europe but yes to this same format in Africa.

Time will tell shaa. I expect series of meetings across Europe over this matter to happen this week. A compromise must be reached.

3.5 billion Euros, yes. I understand that's the total package (perhaps including Invite acceptance). We never even talk winners' amount or amount for finishing second.

3.5 B Euros is about 3 billion pounds.

The reality is that he plays for Crotone, do you expect them to win the Serie A? If Simmy wants to win the league with Crotone he's just daydreaming his biggest and most realistic wish is that they escape relegation. On the face of it he's having a better season than obafemi had.

Do you mean scoring 22 goals in all competition including UEFA champions league is not a better season than scoring 17 goals in all competition for a relegation bound club, right? Smh

Do you know what it means for a player to be dynamic? How many of our strikers can vary their games as easily as Sadiq does?
Ok, I get that you mean his skills set, dribbles, assists. Don't forget that he he is still in a carpenters league. When he enters a league that will not give him space for that, then we'll see how what he can still do.

They're just afraid, Useless corrupt FIFA and UEFA. See how the press release was sounding as if it is Nigerian police that wrote it. They're pushing four year AFCON in Africa as well as the ASL. Yet when person wan touch their money, they won't agree.

If FIFA and UEFA go along with there plan, JP Morgan could sue them to court.

There have been multiple suggestions of fines and point deductions from the big six by uefa, which would put Leicester top of the league and make them FA cup champions....

Champions league loading for nacho

For now it is just 12. No Bayern yet. No Porto. No Lanterns. No Krytonian. wink

I also read that Leipzig has agreed, but Bayern is yet to.
There's a lot of money involved, but I'm not sure I agree with the whole thing.

This whole Super League thing rubs me up the wrong way. If it materializes next season I will most definitely sign out. Why I'm against it is it could spill over to International football all the big nations will just come together, play amongst themselves and shut out the small fry. What then happens to the competition and unpredictability of football? Sometimes money is not everything.

The Americans are behind it.. They want European sports to be run the same way as theirs..
The money involved may sound exciting, but it would definitely take away the excitement of the game..
How will the fans even benefit?
then this threat of banning players from ESL from participating in international competitions with their countries...

Since the 21st century, football has always been about money. UEFA and FIFA are about to lose money, so they're throwing out these stupid narratives. Is it not the same thing they wanted to form in Africa?

FIFA that is talking, hosting rights and the corruption that goes on there, isn't it about money?
