That’s good that it showed nothing but can you seek a second opinion so you have something to make comparison.I’m not sure what ovulating properly means as our bodies are all different so you either ovulating or you are not.
Have you tried monitoring your ovulation for two cycles yourself to establish a pattern?.clear blue is very good and there are other brands too.
I feel we should never take Dr words as the Holy bible but do our own research too.
Am conversant with Prednisolone and know it is a steroid which may prevent the release of hormones needed for ovulation and menstruation so many that’s why he gave you.
In the future every medical tests or consultation insist on official copies of your results before you leave.
It will all end in laughter.

I guess the chances only reduced by 25% or so due to the fact that majority of ectopic preg leads to the loss of one of the tubes. You can always get pregnant with the other tube, your gyn should work on how to stimulate the other tube for optimum result. Try to do hsg to rule out any future occurrence of such situation. Blocked or partially blocked tubes is likely to cause ectopic preg. I wish you well madam.

Why not try to track your ovulation using Opk, some women do ovulate during their periods., your could be immediately after period... very possible. With tracking of ovulation period,you would be able to streamline the possible cause. And if no ovulation, do pelvic scan. Above all, always work with an experienced and competent gyn. I visited a gyn and he said I should do Hsg. The pain usualy last for 3-4 days.

You can have sex whenever you feel fit/strong enough.

Wasn't given antibiotics...wanted to buy and take bit checked online and saw if there wasn't any abnormalities no need for antibiotics...plus I heard antibiotics prevent pregnancy so I didn't take...that's why I want to wait the 24 hours before anything

Hi Mama's I want to go for hsg tomorrow, but Ive been having pains on my lower abdomen 3 days after ovulation. I had to go for vagina swap test today. I also did pelvic scan and it showed nothing. Everything is normal except that the right ovary has a cyst of about 3.1x1.8x3.8.corresponds with a volume of 11.5mls
Attached is the result of the swap. Please can I still go for the HSG?

For the first time I’m trying to track my ovulation with the predicte ovulation kit and the first thing I’ll say is that thing is expensive I bought a pack of 5 strips for 2900 Naira, even pregnancy strips aren’t that expensive (except clear blue). I started testing on day 10 like 4 days ago and I just see one faint line on the strip, no second line. My cycle is pretty regular but last month I had an unusual 35 day stint that made me miscalculate my ovulation.
I just want to know if that’s how predicte is , just one line no second line . Thank you very much in advance .

A follow up to the above
I just looked at all the strips I’ve used to test closely, I saw a very very faint second line, so my questions have been answered, I thought there was no second line and was paranoid I was using maybe invalid strips to test. It’s my first time tracking ovulation, so I really didn’t know what’s up. I’ll just buy some more strips from the drug store and test until I get a dark line

I have...when one doctor said I had hydrosalpinx one blocked tube...he used a scan sha....that's why I'm so greatful to God both my tubes were fine after my hsg on Saturday....I used serapeptease and gufei Bao as I saw some review.....then I did feel it worked...but would I use gufei Bao now...no...as I've learnt you don't need to put anything in there.......

The second line must show to confirm the onset of ovulation and later must be thicker or clearer than the first line to show or assume ovulation has taken place.

You could be testing too early, you have to manage the Opk tho or buy more. Test from day 12 or 13 up to 17 so as to cover wider range.

I just wanted to be sure I was doing the right thing since just one line has been showing, a faint line at that , no second line. I thought and I’m still thinking I’m meant to have like 2 lines, one dark & one faint for negative and 2 dark lines for positive(maybe the brand).
Well this is my first time monitoring and I seem to be a tad bit confused due to different articles I’ve read. But I’ll keep testing regardless, today is day 14 for me btw.
