Bruno seems not a Force with Portuguese Team though.

I've been a Portugal fan since the days of Rui Costa & Maniche and I watched every qualification match (yeah even the ones against farmers) for the current campaign.

Bruno plays a very different role for the Seleçao. At United, Bruno is one of the few players with a license for risk and risky play because we rely on his risk appetite to create chances for our forwards.

At the national team, Fernando Santos likes his teams to retain the ball and not make too many risky moves so the players with license for risk are Ororo and to an extent, Bernardo Silva. Bruno is a pure controller with the Portuguese national team and he is surprisingly very good at not losing the ball when you instruct him to play that way.

The downside though, is he is often playing deeper and farther away from the action so of consequence, he records less goals and assists.
