The height is 40ft and the load requirement is to carry 2 water tank 2,000 liters apiece
on the CHANNEL angle you mentioned whats your advice on what should be bought? i am learning and expert informations from people like you will help alot

Need advise from the gurus in the house.

Will there be a structural concern if the design of the rooms/flats on the first floor in a story building is different from the ones on the ground floor. In the current design, I have 1no 2bed, 2no 1bed and a self contain. I intend to eliminate the external staircase that is supposed to lead to the 2bed on the first floor so all the tenants living on the first floor access their flats using the in-door staircase. Plan to have a balcony extension to provide access for the 2bed & 1bed flat.

I have also attached the floor plan for assessment.

Ground floor has been completed and original design for both floors are same.

5 lengths of H channel of your choice. Whether 6 by 3 or 5 by 3 will be ok

I'm traveling right now but I can tell you that quotation is very much outrageous. You don't need seven lengths of 3 by 1½ for anything. When I settle down, I will send you the quotation for the job.

Monthly maintenance & Drivers wages remain our responsibility.

Duration of contract is 2yrs, after which contract may be renew while payment reduce downward due to increase in maintenance.

Baba, your eyes ain't deceiving you and we are not performing magic. The 2.1 x 2.4m glass is going up the roof to cover the atrium.

My client actually requested for a house that tick all the boxes without breaking the bank. This is just one of the many interesting features of this build.

Your question is vague.

If you are asking if your ground floor arrangement must be same with the upper floor for structural stability, then the answer is NO. It's the responsibility of your structural engineer to design the building according to its loading conditions.

However, if you are suggesting that you want to change the floor arrangement from what 2ad originally designed, then there is a "structural concern" and you need to revert to your Structural Engineer .

Hmmmm I'm watching this closely if it won't break the bank, I may borrow this idea for one of my projects to serve as a sky sunlight for solar water heater on the covered roofing system. This idea may sound crazy but I love to create crazy ideas anyway. Buson, I know you're a very creative Youngman that thinks outside the box in most of your projects, In reference to the glass above, which glass is better in absorbing sunlight to solar panel underneath atrium Tampered, Laminated or Plastic? My idea is to use one of these that will give better result to the solar water heating system.
