No one said Ranieri is a defensive coach so I don’t know why you are bringing this up.

I can’t blame him for his recent failures either. United refused to back him after he finished the closest to arguably the best PL team ever. Other owners would have used that as an opportunity to give him the players he wanted to bridge the 19 point gap. Ed Woodward gave him Dalot, Grant and Fred instead.

The Tottenham project was a joke from the start. Levy rarely spends money.
