It's assumed he's not coming at all.

In your simulation, did he write the IELTS and evaluate his credentials?

No, i didn't do ATS.
I moved from B.sc
However, would writing CIMA or ACCA help anything?
Abdomox:

Did you pass through the ATSWA route towards becoming ACA? If yes, you can evaluate your AAT & BSc to get 2 or more degrees.

Even if he's not going immediately, my advice will be for you both to apply together. When you're successful, he can do a soft landing and come back to Naija. That way he's already permanent resident and going back to Canada will be as easy as booking a flight ticket.

Secondly, Whether or not he is going with you now, you need to show proof of funds for your entire family.

Nobody knows when the next general draw will be. If there's anything you can do to increase your CRS score, do it

God Bless You. I Used IELTS Liz For My Prep And Her Resource Was Very Helpful.

Thanks

Debbieeeeeee:

Prepare again and aim to max out L8.5 R8 W7.5 S7.5.
Go to YouTube and search for IELTSliz watch all her videos, it will give you a good head start. Check out fast track IELTS on YouTube too, she has great tips for listening. Go to your App Store (google play store or Apple store) download the official IELTS app by BC, they have the first three tests free then you pay to unlock the remaining if you wish.
Just take a few study tips from here and there, you’ll be fine.

IELTS Advantage of Chris Pell is also a great resource. I combined his videos with that of Jay of E2 Language and I had 8,8,7,7

What more can I do to increase my score in the meantime to get to around 480? I have masters, more than 3 years of work experience, and no family in Canada

delete this. This is fraud. You think visa officers are not on nairaland The usa embassy even has a moniker here. We need to do better as Nigerians.

Have you gotten a link for the letter of good standing? I have one

Feranmiz:
Good morning
I am a Pharmacist trying to get my document evaluation done with PEBC. I had my transcript sent from my school but I got an email from PEBC saying the transcript sent had the wrong name. I have to request for another from my school. I applied for a letter of good standing with PCN too and this has not been received by PEBC.
Please does anyone have any contact at the University of Ibadan, Transcript office who can be of help in processing another transcript?
Also, any contact at PCN who can help hasten the letter of good standing from PCN.
Thank you

Wheww cry.

Gap between 7.5 and 8 in listening is a very wide one. Distraught right now. CRS 412. Wtf

Don't be distraught bro, I had a similar issue. I did it again however and I passed it. But it's unbelievable how far away one will be if you have 7 or above in the others and just 7.5 in listening. A difference of close to 60 points. It made me hate the CLB system then

It depends on what province you are applying to. Most provinces pick candidate who are already in the express entry pool.

I think you can apply directly to Saskatchewan province but you will need more points (higher IELTS band, masters, relative/connections to the province and/or job offer) to get high points. Out of a 100 points for SINP, you need to be getting like 70 above to be given NOI. It takes about 4 months, but covid might cause some delays.

For Ontario, they pick from the express entry pool according to their needs in the province, so you cannot apply directly to them. They have not launched their Expression of Interest system unlike Saskatchewan. Theirs take about 3 months.

Kindly educate me more sir, how many provinces need an applicant to apply first, and who are the ones who just pick their interest from the federal pool?

I have been working in his bakery for the past two years and I have been paid in cash but I don't know if it's possible to use it as my work experience since he is the owner.

Nice results, congratulations! Yes, you should enter the pool with what you have now, you should not wait till everything is complete. While in the pool, you can do things to improve your score. How long have you been working with your dad?

I didn’t know it’s fraud for me to claim the years I have been working in my father’s company as a supervisor o. I am asking because he is the owner of the company, and I don’t know if I can claim the years I have been working there as part of my work experience since I am related to him.

I have been going through the chat history since morning and some people said the relationship with the owner of the company does not matter when it comes to work experience. How come mine is now fraud just because I am related to the owner

A friend told me that I must not be related with the owner and that I can only use work experience with a company that I am not related to the owner and another person said another different thing. That’s why I am here to confirm if I can use it as part of my experience if he is the owner of the company or I need to start looking for another job in a company that I am not related to the owner.

Maybe it’s my English that is not correct or you misunderstood the question o
