Good day beatiful people, Please i would need a clarification on this. I applied for Canadian temporary work permit last year. I received the LMIA in january then i applied for work permit in febrary, 2020 and the the covid lock down came up . Till now my permit is still in processing. I feel i cant wait any longer so i have decided to apply for study route. But some one just told me that canadian embassy do not process two temporary visa at the same time.that they normally work with the old application unless i have to cancel the work permit in processing already. MY concern is that i dont the outcome of the previous work permit and i cant just sit and keep waiting not knowing when covid will be opver. pls kindly advise me on what to do. |

keleto: Is it employer specific work permit Are you not communicating with your employer? If yes, work permit if all things are done right always get approved, pls be patient, study permit route is also suffering the same visa application delay some ppl have been waiting since Octobe it is because of travel restrictions and covid When applying for Canada visa , patience should be one of your strength 2 Likes |

Ketima:Thanks Shugaban With a 2.2 in History, the PGD/PG.CERT program that came to my mind is JOURNALISM. Your sister needs to be Creative & do some packaging to possibly get an admission, cos she would need to connect her First degree (History) with another degree (Journalism). A Cover Letter might be very essential as a supporting document for her admission application cos the school would most likely make a decision based on her HISTORY DEGREE TRANSCRIPT, that been said a COVER LETTER might just be a game changer for her. The essence of this Cover letter is to show the admission committee that she's gonna be a good fit for the program despite being an History Graduate. See the link below for a COVER LETTER SAMPLE FOR POST GRADUATE ADMISSION IN A CANADIAN COLLEGE attachment (in blue colour) https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/414#95068409 Reason why am suggesting she should go for a PG. Cert in Journalism is because this could make him have a Career Prospects/Future Goals in INTERNATIONAL & HISTORICAL JOURNALISM Why did I say so, with a Bachelor's degree in History , pursing a PG. Cert in Journalism means, - She can be concerned with human rights and issues relating to war and peace, and he might be looking for the opportunity to develop the journalistic skills necessary to communicate this to a wider public. - She can have the opportunity to undertake the academic analysis of a range of critical approaches to the study of war and the media, journalism and conflict resolution and journalism and international human rights. - Journalism offers several specializations, including business, art, politics, and news. A background in history would give her perspectives on a variety of topics, which can help her draw comparisons to current trends and issues. A history degree also develops the research and writing skills she need to effectively write for journals, newspapers, magazines, and blogs. These are just tips & possible Reasons for her to study a PG. Cert in Journalism, despite having an History Degree. She can do more research on Google to see how History relates with Journalism cos she's gonna be talking seriously about the above on her SOP (to convince a VISA OFFICER) when she wanna apply for her study visa Sequel to that, your Sister should do a thorough research (google) on the following PG. Cert in Journalism programs in Canadian Colleges & check their Admission, Tuition amount for international students, course outlines etc. - PG. Cert in Journalism & Communication Holland College, Prince Edward Island https://www.hollandcollege.com/programs/journalism-and-communications-post-graduate-certificate.html#program1 - PG Cert, Broadcast journalism – Television News Fanshawe College of Applied Arts and Technology, London, ON PG. Cert in journalism – New Media Sheridan College, Oakville, ON journalism (Postgraduate) Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning, Toronto, ON PG. Cert in journalism – Arts and Entertainment Centennial College, Toronto, ON Sports journalism (PG. Cert) Centennial College, Toronto, ON PG. Cert in Contemporary journalism Centennial College, Toronto About the exclusion of BC & Ontario as her province to study, she should check the tuition of each schools to determine that so she can know the one's within her budget That bin said, Financial Readiness is very essential if she wanna study in Canada Await more inputs to your enquiry 4 Likes |

Steph1738aye:No, I didn't write any test at all. MUN offers entrance funding packages for a wide range of programs. I don't know much about the MBA program, but you can mail your graduate coordinator. They respond really well. The funding packages are very competitive. That's why writing standardized tests is of an advantage. 2 Likes |

Hello, guys. Thanks for the job y'all are doing - I wish all of us success! I applied to George brown university and just got my admission letter for an Advance Diploma course there. Now, I'm all set to apply for student visa. However, I have a couple of questions before I get started. 1. I don't have an IELTS result now. Can I go on and apply on IRCC while I register for IELTS and write the exam? 2. I have enough funds for both my first year program (C$19,000) and the additional 10k. However, I don't have enough to foot subsequent sessions. Would that be a problem? 3. Should I go ahead and pay my first semester school or is there anything else I need to know? Thanks! Sorry if I'm asking questions that have already been answered. |

TheUnknown2020:1) You can do as you stated 2) you have covered the required amount. The 10k additional is for your living expenses 3) you can pay but ensure you are familiar with the refund policy of the school o(very very important) 1 Like |

feelzee: The best bet for your wife is an Advanced diploma. She should look out for marketing courses like global business management, business and sales management, strategic marketing communication etc. These courses are offered in Conestoga college shaa.. If its Novia Scotia, look at Novia scotia community college. |

Hello guys, I'm looking to make part payment for my tuition fee to TRU. I currently don't have a Domiciliary account.. Pls, what is the most reliable and quickest way of making the transfer without a Domiciliary account? What bank is best to between UBA and Access? and How long does it take for the Uni to receive the funds? |

TheUnknown2020:1. Yes, you can 2. If you're self sponsored, your application might be denied on ground that the fund won't be enough for the entire duration of stay. You should package your application in a way that the VO would be convinced that there will be support system for you back in Nigeria. However, If you're a being sponsored increase the available fund for living expenses to 11k to be on a safer side. 3. Yes, you can. 1 Like |
