Greetings NLanders,
I'm currently doing my Wes evaluation for 2 or more degrees BSC and OND. But the problem is my middle name was ommited from my OND result in 2012/13 session and now my skul is refusing to acknowledge the letter I wrote to them for adding of name. I'm yet to send the transcript to wes tho for evaluation bkaux of this issue.
Please what's the best way to tackle this issue so my result can be evaluated properly as two or more degrees without the ECA report showing discrepancies in name.

Should I obtain a letter from my school stating that I'm also the bearer of the middle name. If I should do this, who should I send the letter to and where. Is it in the space for one certificate or another portal I don't currently know off; just a guess tho.

Please anybody with a decent idea or experience should help me out. I'm in a state of dilemma its been disturbing me ever since,I'm stuck.

Thanks in anticipation NL'anders

Hello Ayinke93 can I send you a Personal Message.. I can't seem to figure out Nairaland DM
Ayinke93:
My evaluation with WES was finally completed today. It's been a long ride since June last year. My school, Yabatech really took their time. From initially sending the transcripts, to sending certificates to verification, it felt like it wasn't going to end. I actually passed IELTS since November and would have gotten ITA since, but here am I.
My advice to any ex Yabatech student trying to send their transcripts is to use ETX. I know they'll tell you they don't send transcripts via email just send to ETX physical address so you don't go through all I had to.
Made a personal decision to celebrate every milestone on this journey. Step two down, looking forward to the rest. May it be easy for us all.

I think IQAS is preparable for evaluation of LLB certificate based on what I have read from those that have done theirs.
aduku1:
Good day, Please who has used CES evaluation this 2021 and at what stage are you now?

Although I am using but WES and CES but if I get for WES alone they evaluate my Law degree as a four years course and not a degree to practice a profession, this then makes my point end at 477

But with CES evaluation I can get 484 as my point since it's evaluate my law degree as a degree to practice a profession more equivalent to a masters degree

Although I am presently doing my masters but would not complete it until September and Time is of essence

Hello everyone.
Please anyone from Uniben here? Or any Federal University can please advise me what they did when WES informed them they had sent photocopies of documents back to the school for verification.

I'm stuck here. Over one month, WES emailed me that they are awaiting verification from Uniben of my transcripts and that I'm to do nothing meanwhile.
How long is it supposed to take?
Over five months since I started this verification of credentials.
Thanks.

read page 1. Unfortunately you need at least a year experience to open a profile, 3 years experience to get maximum points. No two ways about it

Can you learn French during NYSC? If u can, u would be in Canada by next year with at least 470 points.

The other option if u don't want french is to gain 3 years work experience, n do a masters.

Think about what u REALLY want.

Oga, if you don't have at least 1 year of skilled work experience, you are not eligible for Express entry.
If you like become a professor in IELTS and TEF, you need at least 1 year of skilled work experience to be eligible.

If your school ain't doing nothing about it, just go ahead and let them send the transcript to Wes.
The next thing you should do is get an affidavit for showing you're the same person bearing those names upload that on your Wes portal alongside your other documents.

I'm not sure if ommission of middle name will affect your evaluation. When I evaluated my Bsc with ICES, even though I have three names in my certificate, their report came without the middle name, and when I contacted them, they said the important ones are first and last name.

Good Evening Nairalanders, I need suggestions and opinions o, I already made up my mind to enroll in NOUN for my Msc Programme!!! But I would like to confirm if I can study any course (Msc. peace studies and conflict resolutions)!! is this course going to be evaluated by WES or the course doesn’t mean? Or I should go for Msc Business Administration instead, I would be getting my masters form next month and I wouldn’t want the programme to exceed two or three semesters at most!! Thank you as I await your response..

Just to add.....the 1 year experience needs to be continuous.

Page 1 and the IRCC links marked HERE your plug for FSW info.

Getting a job depends on many things, read people's experiences on the living in Canada thread.

How long it takes to get permanent residence approved is between 1 month and 3 years...really varies grin

Obstacles? Just read from part 1 to 10 for gist.

Is this an undergrad or a graduate program?
If it's an undergrad, I'll say explore graduate studies in Canada. And then EE afterwards.

If it's a graduate program, my advice will be to gain at least one year experience before applying.

Estimated cost for a single person is around 15000 CAD (POF, application fees, language test, ECA, etc)

I don't know if what you study actually matter, but to be on a safer side,I would advise you to go for business administration cos that is what I studied in noun too and I have gone through evaluation process.

If I'm adding NYSC to my work experience to meet the requirements, how do I present proof of the experience.

The school I thought in during Nysc has closed down.

Would my Nysc certificate be enough?

Thanks bro for your contribution, it is noted#

1)What if I'm able to convince the person in charge to help me input my correct names on my transcript, would that suffice.

2)lastly, for the ECA report, which document do de follow,is it the name on ur transcript been evaluated or the name on ur certificate bn uploaded or the name u wrote when filling wes profile?

1)If you can convince the person, then that's fine.
2)All docs are cross referenced. Someone commented on your post thay he did his without much worries and ECA came out fine. But if you're not certain, do the affidavit like I said and upload it alongside other docs.
Godspeed

The main thing you should be worried about is getting into the pool and recieving an ITA, although just like someone told you earlier, work experience of atleast a year is needed.
However,if Im correct, you meant the school you taught in has stopped functioning. You can still get a reference letter from your LGI or secretariat, but be sure about this before you proceed.

And what's NYSC for? Bsc, plus NYSC plus french. He will move. I am not pulling figure form thin air.

It's now left for him if he wants to put in d hardwork n learn French or if he wants to take d long route, do masters, gain 3 years experience.

I understand it will take d guy a very long time to accept d french route...if he will.

If you are evaluating with WES, I believe they will use the one that correspond with what you fill on their website.

Okay thanks. But how will I know let dem know that the one I filled on the place they said "fill exactly how it is spelled on your certificate" that my name was misspelled and middle name was omitted, so they can make this effect to my ECA when reporting??
