The north have run out of ideas on leadership (they never had anyway), wealth creation and security of their people. There is currently no Think Tank in the entire north except for 'Divide and Rule'. They spent years sowing discord within their southern neighbours forgetting to attend to theirs. Leadership is not a static interpretation of an idea but a continuous learning process of adaptability in impacting the lives of people positively. Change is constant but not all change are expedient. There is a time and season for everything under heaven and a leader who understands the times, timing, and empathy will minimize the effects of Newton's 3rd law ("to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction") on every of his intentions. 18 Likes |

El Rufai is just a simple definition of devil in human cloth. Wetin be my own, Northern problem for Northern people. It's just a pity everybody has taken laws to his own hands. I don't understand why someone will wake up and decided to put and end to another person's source of income, too bad! 16 Likes |

shadelek: Income from where. You folks like to speak from both sides of the mouth. Is this not cutting the high cost of government we have all been talking about. Everywhere else on this planet since the beginning of Covid there have been restricted incomes, failed enterprises and massive job losses, everywhere except the Nigerian public service. On which planet do they exist?. They are part of Nigeria's failed economy and the pain should go round. They shouldn't expect the private sector only to make the sacrifices. The NLC should tell us how they intend to help this country survive economically. 3 Likes |

Reference: I thought you wanted to make sense. So sacking civil servants is cutting cost of governance? How many political appointees were sacked? How much of his expensive spendings were reduced? If all these has been done and it is still not enough, then can that be considered. 22 Likes |

Hunnnnn...Nigerian has been tolerant enough! Time to wake up! If Hell Rufai get away with this devilish plan, it will go round. These thief call politician are just testing the ground. What hell! Is that part of the oath of office! If Hell Rufai cannot fulfill the term of office (most important-maintaining law and order), he should simply resign. That should be the battle cry of both NLC and TUC. He has no right to govern the state anymore. 4 Likes |

FA13: Oga why I understand the concerns you raised but down sizing the labour force is the sure thing to do. How many people are in State executive council compared to some people in many sectors in the civil service that don't even go to work but are paid at the end of the month. Imagine an agency having 10 cars but about 45 drivers and 35 cleaners. If you are running a private enterprise can you try that |
