With due respect to the administrative body of this forum, the Job confirmation threads here and there on Nairaland are becoming boring.

Why not create a thread, say by the moderator of the job section, and pin it up for every job seekers to make enquiries.

Fine, there's insecurity in the land but seeing too much post about job confirmation will drive away quality people and create sense of tensed atmosphere, especially to Nigerians abroad using this great forum. A good example is the covid update narrative and how it lost 'views".

I don't agree with this atall. It will get people in trouble one way or the other when one day a legitimate organisation frowns at it and takes legal action against the candidate


It should be self discretionary to carry out investigation in such cases or other more discreet manner. No company or business owner would be happy seeing such private information published publicly because a mindless applicant can't make discretionary decisions.

I saw the advert on LinkedIn. I encourage you do virtual. Prepare and do your best.

Why post the phone number to public? You could have sent the phone number to some close friends but not here. What if the job is real? You guys should use discretion in all these. Ask the public about the genuineness of the invite. Which if fine. But don't splash some personal details everywhere. You can send those to close confidants, just in case.
