You get the point bro! He lives in an estate that needs an invitation to enter, I for don go bang him door if not for that

Report the ride to Bolt. All things been equal, you would be refunded half of the fare and his account would be blocked. Then you move on with your life. It's one of the hazards of the job.

That's quite unfortunate for the driver

As for your question, hope you have active uber/bolt/indrive acct?

You can use same inspection report the current driver uses if you have the copy with you. If the driver paid for the inspection report, he is at liberty to withhold the report from you if he feels aggreived you're taking the car from him (some people can be Petty you know), please don't drag it with him, just go do another inspection with 2k or less.

Good luck to you
Or he can buy it from the driver at a reasonable amount

Alright, but can I still report after confirming payment? Then how do I go about it?

How? Why?? Is d driver the owner of the car?
Or is it the driver that will put the car in other up to d standard to pass inspection too

Abeg, Car is for the owner except when in HP, therefore it is the owner that is supposed to pay for inspection.
That doesn't mean drivers can't pay for it, but its not the drivers responsibility.

So going by your logic, the partner should also fuel the car for the driver to take his first trip abi?
Bro, it is the driver's responsibility to pay for inspection.

That’s the trip details

Try updating your App. Below "Need Help", there are a couple of items. Click on "Passenger did not pay or paid less", then click on "Contact Us".

It turned out that as I was trying to simulate it on my app to see how it would work, I used a trip I had yesterday. As I clicked on "Contact us", it just loaded and a message popped up that I've been refunded N850 (that's half of the trip), and it would appear in my account within a week. I've actually been paid for the fare. Is there a way I can reverse this?

The N850 was actually credited immediately, and perhaps Bolt would have sent the rider a message regarding this.

I've sent a message to them, hopefully they rectify it before the rider's account get blocked.

In hindsight though, I probably should have just left it for a while before rectifying it. This woman ranks No. 1 in bad riders I've come in contact with.

I thank God I was in a good mood yesterday else I probably would have lost my cool. Immediately I heard, "Oga please I'm in a haste", and the way she said it, I knew she was ONE OF THEM. I just locked up. She sat at the back so it helped. "Oga drive fast na"(in Sangotedo traffic o), "Oga if you want to brake, brake once" (how do you brake once in traffic ), "I don't even know why you are driving like this, maybe you want the money to increase (still in traffic o)".

She was fortunate she picked her kids from school, probably that's why I kept calm. I didn't utter a word till we got to destination.

Las las ehn, if you are not patient and ready to take shiit from people that are probably not up to your level in reality, don't bother venturing into e-hailing.

Sure you don't care? Search your heart well you'll see reasons why you're concern about your rating, you'd only known the importance after you've been blocked.

No one cares if the car is yours or not.
"Don't care" simply means I don't mind getting blocked for a day or a week. Sure money from bolt helps for small repairs and fuel money. Perhaps you should know that some people do it to kill boredom. Come to PH and see offshore guys doing bolt with their 2weeks or 1 month off duty... Now you should know why I rating is so bad. grin

I don't think my life can be that boring to be a reason to drive on bolt.
Well, I understand your stance.

I bought the car myself no 3rd party during Jonathan regime, seems Buhari regime has affected Nigerians mentality. The poverty is so much we buying 2007/10 car in 2021. We should be buying cars from 2015/16 but dollars don make people go 15yrs back and claiming Grade A Tokunbo
I would have screen short d mileage when I bought it in U.S and now.
But pls don’t let me talk about d car again.
Wetin my eyes see today, I shouldn’t mention car never ever again.

I agree with you. Just that I will drive on bolt ONLY to earn money. Not for friendship or boredom.
There are some who drive for boredom too and I understand that everyone has a different motivation.

So you work with an oil servicing coy yet you still drag scrums with those fighting to be in your level? My brother let's try to be content with what we already have see Bill Gate with all the money he has his wife still left him.

Fear God oh, there're more than a 1000 things you can do to kill boredom driving with Uber/Bolt is never one of them okay so pls don't teach me nonsense my teacher. That ph you mention I sabi am pass you. Your rating is bad simply because of your ego not because you have a job with an oil company or own ur car you're rendering a service and customers will rate you base on the services you render to them so dont think you're trying to be humble or trying to do anyone a favour by driving with Bolt otherwise, do free ride then wave with a smile at the end of every ride even after dropping off a toxic rider then we will know weather or not you care about your account.

Well, I know they reason you're driving, because of ovens... Portcharcourt girls no dey look face most of them even have money more than you that work with an oil servicing company and drives in combine.

Lower your pride, work on your rating and take the side hustle more serious because it can buy you a plot of land in Rumuosi, Ahoda or even Somewhere in Rumuodara if you're diligent enough. Oil company work has a lot of health hazard.

Be wise and make hast while the sun shines

Thanks baba, I’ll run the update now.
Those ‘Oga I’m in a haste’ or ‘Oga why you no dey move’ people annoys me so much that sometimes I respond to the obviously rude ones with ‘Can you drive? Shey you go come take the wheel then?’
I know the worst they can do is 1star (at that point I no Dey send)
