When the Ark of God was in Philistine the Philistines were tormented seriously (1 Samuel 5:6-7).

The Ark of God was taken to the house of a man called Abinadab where it spent 20 years without any recorded substantial blessings of God upon Abinadab and his households (1 Samuel 7:1-2).

Uzzah, son of Abinadab was struck and he died when he touched the Ark of God (2 Samuel 6:6-7).

However, that same Ark of God that tormented the Philistines, that same Ark of God that spent 20 years at Abinadab's house without any recorded substantial blessings to the household, that same Ark of God that Uzzah touched that led to his death, the same Ark of God was taken to the house of a man called OBEDEDOM and God blessed him and his households substantially within 3 months (2 Samuel 6:11).

Do you know that your lifestyle matters so much to God who is the author and finisher of our faith. The Bible says that righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people (Prov 14:34).

What is that unrighteous act you indulge into secretly but openly you behave like a righteous person? The raw, undiluted truth is that whatever you do, mostly in secret, whether good or evil, thinking that nobody sees you, be rest assured that the Rewarder who rewards in the open sees you (Ecclesiastes 12:14).

My dear, I urge you to separate yourself from every unrighteousness and develop a personal relationship with God Almighty who blesses exceedingly. Obededom who was nobody automatically within 3 months became somebody.

Do you want God to raise you from grass to grace? FEAR HIM, because the FEAR OF GOD is the beginning of Wisdom. And don't forget that God Almighty gives the power to make wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18).

Finally, be so mindful of what you do, how you do it and when you do it. God bless you.

One of the best ways to ensure a righteous life is to enter a covenant with GOD.. literally take a pen and paper saying I Adam eve, promise never to watch pornography, engage in fornication, lying and masturbation. I enter into a covenant with GOD to do all it takes to live a righteous life. If I do, let untreatable cancer and paralysis take over my body. I seal this covenant with the blood of Jesus Christ. God never called you or anyone of you to His Old Covenant( for only those who are of the blood of Jacob) lifestyle of righteousness, nor did He command you to teach it to His own. God made it clear through Jesus Christ that we are instead to preach the New Covenant Gospel of the Kingdom of God, God's standard where Salvation and Righteousness are concerned instead. Preaching old Covenant values where you are instead called to follow and obey the New Covenant amounts put you directly against God Himself since you go against His commandment. undecided

Please read through the Gospels to instead learn of God's standard of righteousness as far as the Kingdom of God is concerned and focus on teaching only that which He sanctioned you to preaching in His name .I.e. the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. undecided

I am afraid you are highly mistaken. undecided

God already gave you His Covenant, Jesus Christ, for you to submit to and obey. He told you outright that Jesus Christ is the only way, the only Truth and the Only Life that Honors Him. What makes you think that God will honor any other "covenant" you pretend you can make with Him, after He has already given you Jesus Christ ?

Seal a Covenant with the blood of Jesus Christ? You are deceived there my friend. The only Covenant that was ratified with the blood of Jesus Christ is the New Covenant Law of the Kingdom of God for which the blood of Jesus Christ was shed. The only thing you are allowed to do with His blood is to drink it in remember of Him, Jesus Christ, the New Covenant. No authority has been given you to try to seal your own Covenant with His blood, against His Will. undecided

I don't know where this idea of making Covenants come from where you are called to live according to the New Covenant Law of Jesus Christ instead. Be sure of whom you make your Covenants with because it is not with the same God who declared that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way by which any man can come to Him undecided

As for overcoming sin, Jesus Christ Himself declared that the ONLY way to cease being a slave to sin is through submission to and obedience of His teachings and commandments. He declared this when He said in John 8 that it is by knowing the Truth -His teachings and commandments - that those who are bound to sin can become set free by their knowing of the Truth. Did Jesus Christ lie In this? undecided

It's a revelation for only people going through sins that they promise they won't do but end up going back to it..it's not for everyone..I don't expect u to understand.

Are you saying the Old testament books shouldn't be used as a reference when preaching the WORD OF GOD?

Are you also saying old testament books should be removed entirely from the Bible?

God upgraded from OT to NT.

Some Christians never upgrade o!

But Jesus never came to abolish the law of Moses...

Oh, I understand fully well 2hay you suggest there... I used to be tied to such doctrinss too way back when I had no true knowing of God and Jesus Christ but now I know the Truth of God. undecided

What is sin but disobedience of God's commandment , and how does one overcome sin other than by choosing to obey God's commandment instead of choosing disobedience. undecided

Recall that Jesus Christ is The Way... even where it concerns the overcoming of slavery to sin. And according to Jesus Christ, it is only through continuous submission to and obedience of His Truth - teachings and laws, which define for us that which is sin and which is not - can anyone become free. undecided

The reason many who call themselves Christians continue to struggle with sin even going as far as to believe that one who is of God can backslide is because they have been feeding on lies and those have nothing to do with the Truth of God. The only way to overcome sin is through obedience of God's own commandments to us through Jesus Christ. undecided

And according to God, nobody who continues to live in obedience of the commandments of God goes back to becoming a slave to sin - else God is rendered a liar by that. undecided

1. Depends on what you wish to use it as reference for. Where it concerns the Law we are to live by - standards for Holiness and Righteousness included - the Old Covernant texts are no a reference for that at all. undecided

We are called as followers of Jesus Christ and as His followers, God Almighty commands that we submit to and obey the Law as set forth for us by Jesus Christ in His teachings as He alone is the Law where it concerns the Kingdom of God and His teachings, the standard by which our words and deeds are judged by. undecided

2. No one is saying remove the Old testament books. They are there for to remind you of what was, but not of what is since we are under a New Law. undecided
God Himself announced that there would be a change of guards in His new agreement, declaring changes to be expected before even the arrival of the New Covenant. This we learn of from the prophets of Old, even though we are not called to follow them or their ways but God's new way for us. undecided
