So the highlighted portion is not true. City offered him a new contract but he was told that he will be a bit part player. He turned it down because he felt he could still be a starter on another team.

If you argue outside about drogba being among the top 5 all time EPL greats, they'll bring the stats and make you look so stupid . At a point , he was scoring like 7-8 goals consecutively per season. It doesn't take away his greatness tho but sentiments asides, you can't place Didier in the top 5.

When Roman bought Chelsea, it didn’t take upto 2 years for Chelsea to gain a lot of African fans, especially Nigeria.

Why City has failed to do the same is what I don’t understand. It’s almost 10 years now, yet their fanbase no dey increase.

This is not about fantasy football, it is about accepting that this players are not good enough for Chelsea pedigree. Though I didn't watch today's game but with what I was reading here I began to imagine the players that could take on the game on his own but alas there was none. I dont know who to bring in but I am sure there are several players who wont cost a dime and would give us more than what all this players would have given us. Zaha for example won't be as useless as any of pulisic and ziyech neither will coutinho a proven, tested and trusted attacking midfielder who I have long advocated for before he went on injury would have done better than Havertz and mount COMBINED without us going to break the bank . As for me experience over all this unproven youth players .

You should know better than judging a match based on what you read here. I mean HERE of all places.
