And also I come from a poor home as I’m self sponsored. Can I work and study? Money from work will be used to pay tuition and other bills there.

There's no Lithuanian embassy in Nigeria, you can only apply through vfs in Lagos or Abuja. Check out vfsglobal site for more information

its not too late
just do your research some schools have their deadline for july 1
just make sure you have your documents complete so as not to have any delay

You can try your luck tho. I suggested that just to be on a safer side as a self sponsored. If you can pay your tuition fee sperately and show this as proof of funds it should be enough

Pls am I suppose 2 apply to school b4 doing dis SKVC and how come am still seeing missing documents on d school application portal. Thanks. You are going to show proof of economic activities you are engaged in if you are self employed. Except you register a business name with CAC as a forex trading company (that's if it's possible) and show as proof of source of income.

Please may I ask if one must present tax clearance certificate as a self employed applicant at VFS ?

Be nice to have some money in the account...Be also nice to have run the account with some money for sometime by way of deposits and withdrawals. I once of deposit of millions may not be enough,

CAC documents needs to been valid for sometime. Like, you can't submit a few month-old CAC, it would mean that you only registered your company just to secure a visa. CAC should be at least a few years old. It needs to be an existing and running business, not a dormant one. The company's bank statments should show that the company is actually doing bussiness. Tax receipts will be required too.

Just make copies of the origanl and go with it for application at VSF, they will take the copy but before they do so, they will need to see the original documnets

Go do personal income tax declaration. But I am aware a lot of people don't do that. They don't check for that really.

Can a sponsor abroad scan the documents to the applicant in Nigeria for submission?

Hello ! I applied to Vilnius university some few weeks back and i uploaded all the necessary documents but they requested for a post secondary certificate and i uploaded the certificate for the A-level program i did at a University here in Nigeria but this afternoon i got an email saying i was still rejected because there is no proof for post secondary education.

below is the copy of the message i got from the school:

Dear Obafemi Oludahunsi,

Thank you for applying to Vilnius University. After carefully reviewing your application, we regret to inform you that we cannot accept you to the programme Software Engineering.

The decision was made after the evaluation of your educational background and recognition of foreign academic qualification.

One of the requirements for Bachelor level applicants is to provide documents that can verify post-secondary education of at least one academic year. The specific requirements are listed on our website Since Vilnius University is a research university and we do not offer any preparation or foundation courses, we are expecting applicants to have academic experience of one year at the Polytechnic/Institute/University in their home countries.

Due to this reason, your application to Vilnius University has been rejected.

The Admissions office appreciates the time you invested in your application. We encourage you to finish post-secondary education and apply to Vilnius University next year. We also wish you every personal and academic success!
