No, I selected him and stuck with him...

You should show the loopholes in my argument that we have better players courtesy of our superior financial power and better facilities than Leicester and Arsenal...

LooL. I mean, why are you comparing Utd to Arsenal and Leicester? They didn’t come close to Utd this season.

Do you want to be like them? You want to bottle the top 4 and not qualify for Europe in exchange for FA cup and community shield?

Okay. That season Mourinho finished 6th and won all those ‘trophies’ and the EL, would you be happy if winning EL doesn’t guarantee UCL qualification?

Like you’d be happy the next season when Chelsea and Liverpool are playing UCL while you prepare your mind for another Thursday night in Kuvukiland?

Duuuude.

That’s one.

Another one is about training facilities in Carrington. Are they better than City’s?

In general, are we aiming to catch up with teams like Arsenal and Leicester or teams like Manchester City?

Shouldn’t have started Greenwood for me. He should’ve been the quality bench option that will provide a change in the second half.

Plus there were too many scorers and few creators.

Pogba was left alone to do all the work in midfield- build from back, create chances, dictate play and even run after opposition players and defend. The rest were hiding and looking for goal chances.

Rashford was playing the same way he’s been playing for months. Shiitt

Cavani did well and was starved of chances. He’s the only attacker who played well for me.

Bruno di foker disappeared all through the game. I expected him to come to midfield and help out at least. But he was busy doing what not and looking for a tap in or whatever. Had Bruno decided to be a creator and not a scorer we’d have gotten more better chances.

McTominay decided to limit himself. He hid from passes and hardly threatened.

That Olé decided to proceed with the rubbish, after telling all of them to do as many interviews as possible and “enjoy” the final, is beyond me.

I mean, Villarreal were hardly playing. What’s wrong with bringing in a few pass-first players EARLY ON IN THE SECOND HALF to change things?? Why wait till 100 mins before making a sub? He’s quite daft in that regard.

Utd had enough quality to win that final by +2 goal margin.

He takes the blame for exiting the UCL and most of it for losing this final. He’s a dumbo.
Ladies (If we have any here or sissies) and Gentlemen, if the quoted post came from me, Leyqute among others would have found a reason to say I'm overly emotional and critical of Ole...

This is what I have been saying but no, it's from Patrick, let's find a way to argue it out...

He takes all the blame for the two occasions.

Bruno should have dropped deep and anchor with pogba, because his usual AM position was choked with 3 midfielders, so he kept drifting wide all game, I agree with the greenwood idea, bring him on fresh for the second half, ole panicked as all inexperienced coachoes do, I heard when he was shouting attack and get a goal!!! *

Our only route was the wing, why not improvise and result to cross and nod?, Tominay moves forward, Bruno drops deep, Shaw and Bruno* spam in crosses for tominay and cavani, greenwood and rashford try to win the second ball.

I saw many things wrong in that game, and I felt we deserve to loose, didn't bother watching the penalties, we should have won the game even before extra time.

You know why it worked? Rashford couldn't go past fvcking Hoyth for the entirety of his time on the pitch...

Bruno choose to play as a SS...

Wan-Bissaka couldn't make the most of all the space he had...

In spite of all, Ole didn't make a change for 90mins...That's criminal.

We all saw he visually panicked, inexperience speaking.

Rashford had no right to play for 40mins sef.

For Bruno, he should have dropped deep with pogba, the AM was choked up.

When you were mocking Nagelsmann here, who was it targeted at? So much for he didn't suggest an alternative...

We might not have a squad as large as City but if we do a review of the season, you'd see we faltered against teams who have no business taking a point off us...Palace and Sheffield I can mention off my head and at other times we foolishly conceded late goals to Everton and Leicester...

We went to Anfield and should have won but we were told Liverpool are blah blah b lah until Burnley and every other team went there and laid them...

Ole didn't make good use of his bench...How come we shut out PSG with Tuanzebe putting up a MOTM performance yet same player is considered trash by you lots...

Pray tell, do you think Ole managed the game against Villarreal well?

You are speaking from both sides of your mouth. The squad you thought was good enough early on in the season suddenly aren’t up to scratch.

Ole is the reason we were kicked out of the UCL (cos of his naivety) and he fvcked up for the Villarreal final but this doesn’t mean you should blame him for everything.

And having a quality bench helps. You may not think so but players will not put out consistent quality performance when they’ve accumulated some games and are tired, fatigued or nursing an injury. That’s where a quality bench comes in. The major reason City piped us to the league this season was because of their quality bench.

None of their players is in the top 3 for most goals scored, assists or even chances created. It was a team effort. Gundogan bailed them out for a bit. Then it was Mahrez. Then Jesus had a few important goals. And what about Phil Foden?

I guess we were doing okay until Pogba and Rashford got injured at the turn of the year. Pogba decided to sit games out and Rashford wanted to play on with the injury. He was shiit for those games.

A quality bench woulda prevented that.

In as much as I’d blame OGS for not using his bench as often as I would want him to I won’t go overboard with it cos the bench is far in quality when compared with the first team.

Pickford better than Henderson to you.

What Henderson achieved with Sheffield United last season, Pickford can't smell it with Everton.

29 years old Nick Pope that is useless with anything related to using his leg(kicks and saves).

Lets wait for Henderson's career status at 29.

What did he achieve?

This is like saying what Ole achieved at Molde cannot be achieved by Tuchel in the PL. grin cheesy

Is it not the same Henderson that allowed a shot from Liverpool to pass through his legs last season?

That Henderson? grin cheesy

Those games ehn. Na fatigue and injury cause am, to me. Cos a quality bench option with fresh energy and perspective can prevent those points from being dropped. The players have been overused. And when they don’t play well there is no one to glue their ass to the bench...like Cavani has done to a martial.

Bruno Fernandes should be fined by the club for allowing Villareal to take the first penalty.

Bruno won the coin toss. It then follows that United should take the first penalty and Villareal would choose which side of the pitch to take the penalty.

Villareal chose their end of the pitch where their fans were which is a small advantage. Yet, Bruno stupidly allowed them to also have the advantage of going first.

Statistics already proved the first team to take penalties win the shootout 60% of the time cos the second team is always playing catch up which adds to the tension.

I heard even the referee was surprised that Bruno chose to go 2nd. What sort of stupid rookie mistake is that one?

I didn’t watch the penalty either. There were too many wrongs in the game. Ole played the same way from start to finish.

Pushing McTom forward and replacing Rashford with Telles is not a bad idea really.

Cross and nod and let Pogba and Bruno mock up any lose ball from there with a shot. Or even dummy for a cross deep into the opponents, play to midfield and let someone take a shot. Sustained pressure gets a goal, either through an own goal, a penalty, or Cavani moping up a rebound.

He fvcked the game up. He’s quite daft.

In 2020, complains of the bench sufficed and we strengthened but guess what, in 2021 we are still talking about our bench...

Ole hyped up Mengi at the start of the season, where that one dey?

Tuanzebe shut out Neymar and Mbappe but found himself on the bench more often than not...

VDB is not bad, he was a starter in that Ajax team...

Telles was preferred TO Reguillon and most folks here celebrated his signing...In fact, people even come here to lock those who wanted Reguillon whenever he commits an error...

Cavani is only playing because Martial had a stinker of a season, if Martial of 2019/2020 season had shown up, we'd have been yapping a out how bad and washed up Cavani is...

Amad was signed for how much again? Yet Ole doesn't trust him even if for 30 extra time minutes...

Villarreal paraded Parejo a player whose glory days at Valencia are behind him alongside Capoue who is bang average but Matic was glued to the bench because for some of you (in a bid to excuse Ole) he is past it...

Abeg, we had more than enough in ThT starting team to trounce Villareal talk less of the bench...

That I suggest we need improvements (CB, DM, RW and RB) next season doesn't mean the players occupying those positions at the moment are complete pants but if that's what you deduced from my post, then I can help you...

FWIW, Matic was the one who was beaten by a 1-2 pass in midfield that created the space for Tielemans to hit a powerful shot into the net after we’ve drawn level with Leicester (1-1) following Fred’s assist to Kelechi earlier on.

We need quality competition in many places. But the coach is at fault. So. Okay.

So we should be blamed for Ole’s stupidity of not using his bench at all? You can’t expect players to start playing well all of a sudden, after benching them for months.

Meanwhile, some of the guys on the bench played well against Wolves, how come they did not get a chance against Villarreal?

Pep signed average players and made them world beaters by giving them chances. OGS wants 22 superstars in his team. Won’t work!

Ole ought to have ring the changes at the hour mark. One of Greenwood or Rashford shouldn’t have started.
McFred should have started.

Pogba was horrible in the midfield especially in the first half. He was too far away from where he could cause Villareal’s low block any sort of problem.

A fresh Rashford leg around the 70th minute would have helped against the tired legs of Villareal. Ole didn’t make a single change until extra time and the substitution was dumb. DM for a forward. grin
