In fact, cow urine is equivalent to holy water under Hinduism as it is sprinkled on adherents during certain religious observances to render them 'sanctified'. The holiest urine is that of a pregnant cow.

It is going to be really difficult to disabuse their minds of such thoughts. The doctors can only keep trying. The practise of using cow dung and urine as 'medicine' goes as far back as the Vedic era like I said earlier. Some Hindus would naturally pick that over modern medicine.
