Stop to dey smoke weed you no gree, which African country dey look up to you? if you know the way they detest you for what you are as a country then you will hide your head in shame....

Seebrian:
I think it is a good name. Giving the fact that others Africa countries look unto us for continental leadership and we have what its take to provide that leadership. Forget the recent happenings in the country. We are naturally position to lead Africa.

Why are they keen on numenclature change of one Nigeria to united whatever?
Their nepotistic president of northern Nigeria has shown without doubt that fake collections of people with different religious beliefs and cultures can never be one. There are facts that can never change.
Divide or restructure.

Any system of education which does not help a man to have a healthy and sound body and alert brain, and balanced and disciplined instinctive urges, is both misconceived and dangerous. Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

I was not yet born when Awo ruled the western region which also include the then Bendel state now Edo and Delta state, but I grew up hearing and learning his leadership qualities and plans for a better society. As a matter of fact, the first Barrister in my family was a beneficiary of his free education among many others I am sure are now in positions both in public and private organization.

Presently, how do you convince the large population of your citizen you refuse to provide quality education for about the proposed change of name and the need to do so? Many Nigerians now wait for either celebrity or a public office holder who they look up to to give opinion on national issue before they take side irrespective of their role model emotional expression towards the subject matter which often time is expressed out of sentiment. Most of us can't even express our view convincingly in public space while some await the statement from either the opposition to start their sentimental argument while some await aids of the rulling party to counter those against their government initiative of which is often done in an uncivilized manner.

Haa opari! which one is Alkebulan again oo? sounds like something from an incantation. I can only imagine how terrible this country will be with a name like that.

Besides more than 90% of our population will not be able to pronounce the name of their country.

What then happens to our national Anthem

Arise, O compatriots, Nigeria's ( United African Republic.) call obey
To serve our fatherland
With love and strength and faith
The labor of our heroes past
Shall never be in vain
To serve with heart and might
One nation bound in freedom, peace, and unity.
