Sea rescue, mountain rescue and fire fighting are cheap and effective ways for peacetime chopper pilots to sharpen their skills.

Bearing fruit in the DRC right now as Oryx pilots are first preference for combat search and rescue, insertion and extraction.

LNA came out of the Libyan resistance that removed Gadaffi while the GNA made up of militias from various part of the country managed to defeat ISIS while LNA was rearming.

GNA took Tripoli since 2017, LNA tried to overrun it since 2019 without any luck despite several spirited attempts.

GNA made of poorly armed militias gave Haftar a run for his money even with all his backings. Russia even had to send several fighter jets and bombers to help keep him in the war.

GNA fights like jihadists, while LNA tried their best to fight and appear to the international stage as a professional force. That's why you see those Gucci gears in their exercises.

Gucci gears without associated equipment and services like Secure comms (both field, tactical and HQ), Superior training, 24hrs ISR, SIGINT technology, dedicated transport helicopters and aircrafts for rapid infils and exfils, and a robust support infrastructure like logistics, maintenance, K9, medical.


Is just noise before defeat. Just saying.
