Before it expires, you can just get like the screenshots of your details to aid in your refilling them instead of gathering all the documents again, except if you prefer doing that.
I created my new profile months after the first got expired, so you can wait till it gets expired which is just in a few days from now.

This Response is Insensitive. What if i have done everything neccesary to be in the pool and gotten ITA when i have no POF yet? Remember all hands are not equal. so the Bolded is actually insensitive. Also not everyone has business to fund Travelling or relocation. I see this as a Shallow thinking
You clearly missed the point I was gunning for and I totally get it.
Someone comes on a public forum and insinuates that people are going to be borrowing money for their POF and you don’t see a problem there.

You want me to spell it out as a child yeah? I’ll do that. There has been talk on this same platform that VOs read this thread, is it true or not? I don’t know.
But picture how that’s going to look when the common understanding is that Nigerians are borrowing. There’s already existing panic in groups with people sending webforms upon webforms trying to move funds to a different currency.

You know why Indians and others succeed at emigrating, because they don’t talk about whatever arrangements they have on open forums but Ofcourse we are Nigerians - by all means please continue.

Some days ago, another person posted about IELTS, today now we are borrowing.

I’ll take back my words, I said too much and I apologize .

To each his own!!!

Thank you and you need not apologise.
It's typical of Nigerians to use emotional blackmail to justify doing or saying the wrong thing. I immediately understood your point and shocked the initial poster still had guts to defend an almost criminal act (according to IRCC). It's clearly stated "Funds must not be borrowed"..it's one thing committing fraud but trying to gaslight or shame someone correcting you for all of our good?? That takes the cake!

I hope the person gets it now. If you want to borrow, let that be between you and IRCC, please don't announce here and force this platform to be an accomplice to such actions.

Missma01 Nigerians and emotional blackmail are like 5&6. They think pity and Abeg can solve everything as always. You want to relocate and don’t have money gather your money and then relocate thereafter It’s very simple. Another typical Nigerian problem is to read & research it’s a problem! always looking for third hand information, rephrasing one question ten times.
V.o’s read nairaland very well, I remember when one vo used to respond on the USA visit visa thread & birthing thread I guess they got moved from naija post to another country or entirely got tired of answering people.

Hi Everyone.

I joined the EE pool in December last year, my CRS is 468. The score is not so high, and I fear the minimum CRS when FSW draw resumes would be higher. Now I'm thinking of going the PNP route.

I'm in tech, and I have been expecting to get PNP nomination, but I have not gotten any. I read somewhere that just by being in the pool, provinces like Ontario would invite me for PNP. A friend of mine was invited just by being in the pool.

Now that I want to actively pursue PNP, what are the things I need to know and requirements I need to possess. Links or comments would be appreciated. Apologies if this has been asked before. Thanks

I know we like to be vocal and expressive but no one borrows POF for this journey because IRCC disapproves it. Leave it at that.
It might take a long tedious year but those interested in relocating save or have businesses to fund it.
Relocation shouldn’t be anyone’s cup of tea if they can’t afford it - simple.

I get that people shouldn't borrow. I am totally against it as well, because it will always end in tears. That's why I said the journey is now a lot more difficult due to the severe depreciation of the Naira. The Naira is currently free-falling and might hit N1,000 before the end of the year. At that point, probably less than 2% of Nigerians will be able to afford immigration. Is it a crime to be born in this country? Why do things have to be so difficult for the average Nigerian? Why are even relocating, if not due to the current situation of the country? I know these are rhetorical questions, but at this point, relocation is now everybody's cup of tea and they will always find a way.

you need to visit each province website to see requirements, Google pnp tracker too. A friend on 360 crs got PNP nomination from new brunswick today ( has ielts and tcf). Pnp sometimes is a game of luck

To everyone in one stage or the other. I pray that GOD gives you the strength and courage to pull through till the very end.

My honest advice, please don't save your POF in Naira. I still dey cry.

Remember: The journey is different for everyone. Some, easy....Others, hard but we shall all overcome as long as there is life.

GOD bless you all.

Hi @aduku1.

Was the person asked for new pof doc or how did ircc know the fund was not up to the required amount 1 year after submission. If he was asked for new pof doc, what did he submit? I'm just curious.

aduku1:

Please inform before u do anything...
The law is that the funds be available in that account from the begining of assessment till the end...I know one who was reject much later after a year because the funds was not up to the required amount at d final assessment, he removed part of the money after he had submitted his application

How can I save my POF outside Nigeria? What feasible options are available?

Find a way to reduce your score. The last 3 Ontario Tech draws has been between 453 to 465. Your score is a bit higher. Look for things to remove to reduce your score a bit. If you have a worse off IELTS exam that can knock off some points please use that.

This remains me of back in the day. My friend was asked: why did you have credit in English language?, That he wasn't qualified for remedial. Haha

For FSW, you only need to provide documents for the jobs/work experience (WE) you are claiming points for. The thinking is that since the max CRS points for foreign work experience is 3 years then you only need to provide evidence to cover jobs of that duration. All others may be moved to personal history.

Many thanks!

For Christ sakes, VOs scan through this thread and there are things you shouldn't just type in the open.

You know the rules. Borrowing is not allowed. Canada does not want citizens with nothing to their names coming to be desperate and being a burden on tax payers.

Relocating is expensive and everyone should save for it.

After borrowing and returning it, do you think you can survive on nothing before you get a job? Abroad sapa never hold you.

Borrowing is not allowed. Sell stuff, get a gift deed if need be. Let's be guided before Una spoil things for others.

Watch your tongue. No dey cast.

Hey all, I have a friend who is in Canada and wants to sponsor his spouse. My friend is a PR and his wife has a valid Nigerian passport but wants her hubby's name on her new passport. The new passport has been applied for since April but Naija no get booklet.

The other evidence and acknowledgement of the new name are noted on the forms, newspaper publication, affidavit of change of name, so they wanna continue the application process with the old valid passport until Naija get sense.

Including a new passport biodata page can wait until embassy or IRCC is ready for something, right?
