Good morning people. I need the gurus to help take a look at this scenario;
Here's someone who has been working as an internal Auditor with a Federal Government agency for the last 10 years. Holds ND Accounting (2004), BSc accounting (2008), Msc Policy Analysis (2016), ANAN certificate (2016). Married with 3 kids. The proposed course of study is Masters in Organizational Management in Canada. The main reason for this choice of course is in preparation for managerial position at the place of work. How convincing could this reason be?
Frank opinions please.....

No NSE request yet so I proceeded to write IELTS should they ask for it.

Due to my work schedule, I no really prepare for IELTS but I believed na just English we want go speak and write. Below is my IELTS experience.

Speaking: done on may 26 British council

I entered with all smile, with kpk lifestyle on my mind, this Canada, na everybody go enter.

Examiner: Do you live in a house or apartment?
Me: paused and thought, na house e go be. So I said house.

Examiner: Describe, your house
Me: Without calming down, I said the house is a 3 bedroom apartment. Lol! I don gbagaun before I realized. I quickly changed to the house is a 3 bedroom flat and listed all features.

Aside that, the remaining interview went well.

Writing: Tried my best
Reading: I feel I did well

Listening: I don listen and answer reach number 16. Then, from no where, my mind just flashed back to my binace wallet wey coins de dip. Before my mind came back, dem don de number 25 Wtf! Then I realized, village people don locate me. Well, it ended and I just de tick and guess answers. Na only God for save me for that end.

I'll upload the result once dem come out make una fit learn one or two lessons from me.

I just have the feeling that my visa application will be approved regardless.

Well, my result is finally out. Awaiting NSE REQUEST

Hi nairalanders good afternoon,

I have lodged my application for OWP on May 19th, biometric completed, Medical passed (but no email notification). I was reading a thread recently regarding sending webform.

In my case, I have several landed properties and houses to my name. All scanned copies are over 126 pages. When compressed the size it was more than 4MB. When I compressed it more to fit in, it was 3.8MB but it was blurry so I decided to half the documents and send the rest as webform and explain my intention on why split the upload. All my properties are listed in my SOP as I want to have strong ties to Nigeria.

I want to ask was it a good decision to lodge my application with half of the property documents because they couldn't fit and upload the remaining as a webform days after?

@Frankrobbn1 @Justmellow @Adiekwe1@Lekiboboe @NairaLuck @justwise @Akannitommy and other gurus, please advise. Thanks
Nairalanders please advise. Thanks

Hello Everyone

Please I have a question that requires an urgent clarification.

My wife newly received a study visa approval, and myself and the children wish to travel to Canada as soon as possible. In fact, we plan to put in the application by next week. She is still in Nigeria and planning to travel in August for the fall intake. I plan to apply for SOWP, while the children will apply for study visas.

Meanwhile, in filling the family information form, she had indicated that no family member would accompany her to Canada. She had stated thus in order to use me and the children as home ties.

Now the question is: if the rest family members now apply to join her in Canada, would IRCC not consider this as amounting to misrepresentation? Could IRCC use the information in her family information form against us?

Do we have people here who had stated similar thing in their family information form, yet still got SOWP for the spouse and study visas for children?

Please do help a family!

Many thanks in anticipation.

I'm not so knowledgeable about this but I think you can create a new gckey...then use the "link an existing application" feature to link your new gckey with your old one. You'll be asked for your UCI number, application number and some security questions.

All my best!

Spectro:
Good morning, guys.

I'd like to ask four questions.

1. Is it advisable for me to pay for tuition and create a GIC account in a Canadian bank?
2. Should I pay only tuition and show proof of funds for Nigerian account?
3. Is money recoverable from one's GIC account if a visa refusal later occurs?
4. Do I need to provide Sponsor's statement of account if I have a GIC account and have paid tuition?

Hello Spectro,

It is good to know that you are keeping strong and focus on your (re-)application. Option 1 and 4 are most suitable to subsume the officer's concern (personal assets & financial status).

If possible, include your personal BS/MBS too and payslips if not previously included. GIC is recoverable.

Wo hope for the best for you.

Best of Luck

From my own experience although i have not travelled too but i want my spouse to apply for spousal work permit. See they can term it misrepresentation becos she indicated she wont travel with family so ur best bet is to let her travel thereby fulfilling her promise that she will come alone and as soon as she arrives (even some gurus advises that after 1st semester) she can put your application.
From my little knowledge which i acquired from inquiries from some gurus it is believed that she needs to include her study permit as well as her SIN in your application for SOWP and even if it is visiting visa there must be an invitation letter which must carry her canada home address. Haven said all this, even her SOP to support ur SOWP application must be emotional so that the VO can have some symphaty is handling the case.

Due to the $$ restrictions on Nigerian bank cards, some Canadian immigration applicants are contacting people abroad to help them pay, and some of these people are paying with fraudulent cards

IRCC is flagging this & even issuing visa bans to the applicants, please be careful o!. Copied

Hello, good afternoon,
The normal route will still request for IELTS regardless
I can recommend some videos and sites that can help boost your listening and reading

shawn55ng:
Dear friends,
Please I need an advice cos I'm weak right now

NSE sent me mail that I should upload proof of fund and Proof of IELTS test results: Submit an IELTS Test Report Form that shows a score of 6.0 or higher in each skill (reading, writing, speaking and listening). This must be received at this office by: 2021/06/25

Now my result is out and I got the following.
Speaking 7.5
Writing 6
Listening 5.5 did not meet 6 as stated
Reading. 5 did not meet up 6 as stated
Band score 6
My question now is can I upload it like that or follow the normal route as stated.

Should we not receive the above document(s) or information within 30 days of the date of this letter we will assume that you wish to be processed through regular channels and your file will continue being processed accordingly.

Please advise me if I should just do the following
1. toll the line of normal route as i am not interested of writing another exam right now.
2. Will the normal route still request for this IELTS?
3. Will this result affect my chances

Thank you

Hello Lightswitch007,

There is no harm in sending the extra documents via webform/email. You can merge in one PDF. You can also merge to other documents to be uploaded in the (other) column(s) that have extra space.

But why not cut down the numbers by including only the relevant and sensitive pages. For example: Survey(s), C of O, Receipt, Building plan, etc.

Best of Luck
