Please I would like to know if F shows on my transcript even though I've cleared the course, then can the 'F' deny my admission into Canadian university for my master's degree |

atiteb4: My Oga! I greet you, Are you sure of this? 3.0 for Master of Science in Canada? Do you meant to say MA - Master of Art?, MBA - Master of Business Administration? I know most MSc programs in Canada are thesis based and would require a supervisor's consent prior to be considered for admission. With such grade (3.0), the applicant should opt for MA, MBA or PGD. otclare: Which of the Master's program are you seeking to pursue in Canada and the school. These are the factors you should be looking out for when applying for Graduate Admissions. Some programs are usually competitive with limited space, if your grades and personal statement is not clearly outlined in a persuasive manner, it will be tough to get in. It will end in praise |

Evergeen22: I regret to hear you've been found inadmissible to Canada for a period of five (5) years for a charge back you've no idea about. I empathise with your critical immigration situation and I'll have to encourage you to put yourself together. As other group members have earlier expressed their views, the best way to overturn the 5-years ban issued to you by IRCC is to hire an experienced immigration attorney in Canada, who will fight the case through the Judicial Review Process. Since you submitted your application from outside Canada, you've 60 days from the date the decision was made to file for a Judicial Review. Do not waste any time further, act as fast as possible. Please be aware that you will have to show proof that you transfered the exact amount equivalent to a compensated agent in Nigeria who later in the process requested for a chargeback from his bank. I wish you the best on your Judicial Review Process. It will end in praise 8 Likes 1 Share |

Spectro: @Spectro, I'm getting to know your visa was refused by the Canadian immigration. Sorry about the delayed outcome of your application. Giving up shouldn't be an option for you, share a detailed profile of your submission and let's see how we can get help. In the meantime, order for your case notes to obtain a clearer picture of the refusal. It will end in praise 6 Likes |

@Frankrobbn1 After declaring that the funds in my account was gifted by my dad for study, the money was sent as a loan and I have to pay monthly interest, now I want to return the money, and use funds from my church declaring a scholarship from them. Is this possible? What do you advise? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Frankrobbn1: 12:22am On Jun 13, 2021 |
Kudiratu28: I don't think there is a correlation between your current employment with your intended program in Canada. Hence the purpose of visit as a ground for refusal. The visa officer is obviously not satisfied about the reasonableness and lucrativeness of studying the program in Canada when weighed with the existing options available in your home country. Please order for your gcms notes as soon as you can and begin to work on providing a persuasive letter of explanation to address the initial concerns highlighted by the visa officer. olupatito: This is a pre-assessment notes of the Program Case Analyst, you can't rely on this notes as the final review on your application. Please check the last two pages of your gcms notes, which contains the factual reasons as to why the Senior Immigration Officer refused your application. What happened in your case is that, the Program Case Analyst who is responsible for the initial R-10 check was satisfied with your application, albeit the Senior Immigration Officer had some reservations concerning the file during his assessment and decided to review your file again thus unavoidably leading to a negative decision. This happens occasionally on several cases. Lastly, go for post graduate program instead of Second degree.. This will make your case convincing to the visa officer. It will end in praise 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Frankrobbn1: 12:45am On Jun 13, 2021 |
Lianna2020: Her application was refused by the Senior Immigration Officer. The Program Case Analyst has given his review based on the information present on file, but the Senior VO is not satisfied with the initial review and had to decline the application. According to the information obtained from the Canadian immigration regulations and manuals, only the Senior VO has the final decision on any application submitted to IRCC. JustMellow: Thanks for your response Mr JustMellow and thanks for clearing my doubts, I was a bit worried for uploading half of my property document and the other half as a webform. I uploaded only the relevant documents that’s why it’s 126 pages. (Surveys, CofOs, Purchase Receipts, Transfer of Ownership Documents, Building Plans, Structural plans and Stamp Duties). |

You can look at the Masters program in Geography, Urban and Environmental Studies at Concordia. That's my department but you need to find your own supervisor. If you have some publication (even conference paper) will help your case for receiving funding. Your CGPA is great but it may not be enough if you lackin other areas. When you do this try fuse your MBA and Geography background plus banking experience to propose a crazy proposal that fit into the department/professors research area(s). You can also look at a Msc in GIS with specialization/application in business/industry. Shorbeeb: 1 Like |
