The states were proliferated in the northern region by Northern military dictators.
So Arewa gets over represented in the Executive Council and in the NASS.
The East with only 5 states is underrepresented.

Ngige is a sellout, struggling for his stomach.

Unlike Muhammadu Buhari who clings to the skewed and lopsided political structure created by northern soldiers to favor only northern Nigeria, as he recounted how the states are equally represented in the Federal Executive Council, most people in the south, especially in the southeast, are not accepting the 36 states and Abuja political structure as final. Nigeria shall see no peace until the political structure and constitution created by Arewa soldiers are renegotiated in a democratic set-up.

Exactly. Any appointment to the Northeast, Northwest or even North Central is termed "Northerner" but we want to segregate the South into Southeast, Southwest and South South seperately, is that fair? Yes, the North are more homogeneous due to similar culture, languages and to a little extent, religion, but is that the fault of Buhari? Why can't the South unite as well so an appointee from any of these zones will be called "Southerner"?

In his recent statement, Buhari asked if anyone has been able to prove that he hasn't fulfilled all the statutory appointments to all zones as stipulated by the constitution, no one has been able to dispute that till date. Just emotions and hatred. Has Buhari not done more for the East in terms of projects than Jonathan/PDP ever did? Facts are sacred!
I don't know what to do to appreciate you for this post..but know that you deserve much more than you will get in the end

You are wise.. Aswearugad, you are wise

Who will believe it took a Buhari to complete Warri-Itakpe Rail Project 33 years after it was started, whereas PDP spend 16 years in office before Buhari's coming.

We should never forgive PDP. It is just that most Nigerian youths are plain fools.

I remember in 2006 or so when then governor Ngige was rooting for Njaba as a sixth state between Imo and Anambra states in the southeast area. Has Buhari government created the merited 6th state in the southeast?
If Igbos are not marginalized in Nigeria, why then was Ngige rooting for a 6th state in the Southeast when he was governor?

Actually, Nwabueze is saying what his principals asked him to say. However, for his own good, he better not say anything that bring the anger of UGM. Just for his own good, anyway.

NGIGE IS SPEAKING FOR HIMSELF AS A BENEFACTOR OF BUHARI GOVERNMENT.

BUHARI MADE HIM A MINISTER.

HE SHOULD ALLOW THE IGBO PEOPLE TO ALSO SPEAK FOR THEIR COLLECTIVE.

THIS ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS, ELSE, WE WILL FLOG NGIGE NAKED AT THE MARKET SQUARE.

HE IS NOT BIGGER THAN THE COLLECTIVE.
ngige is only telling you guys not to be too greedy as Nigeria is not only made up of igbos alone. we have over 300 tribes in Nigeria. Imagine all tribes complaining like igbos too. Ngige is only trying to tell you guys to be more sensitive to others as you guys think it's only fulanis that are living in Nigeria

Oga Buhari has been aiding and abetting Islamist sharia law and Islamist police hisba.

Instead of Buhari appealing to the regions and nation at large, better angels; he proceeded to call igbos a dot that will be contained. You go know say others sabi that majority alliance business. He was instigating genocide violence against igbos. Turning a blind eye to UAE, Egypt, north Sudan,Turkey, and saudi, almost daily air drops in the North of nigeria and Niger. Oga Buhari don't open a tinder box. Igbos will resist genocide on it. Never again.

We have backstabbing idiots, betrayers and traitors like the short nincompoop among we Yorubas also, so I am not surprised about this flat headed traitor including Orji Uzor Kalu, Nzodima Hopeless, Rauf Aregbesola, Remi Tinubu, e.t.c.

Ones again
Nlanders and Nigerians especially the santified Igbo race should not be worried of this kinds of statements from cowards ....it is their job ...they are been paid to defend the government wether good or bad, in this case hopelessly evil.....if Garba shehu woke up one day and had an epiphany , and spoke the obvious truth to government... he'll be fired, irrespective of his relationship with buhari....so the early we understand that even if Hitler mysteriously becomes our president.. he'll employ and pay people that will defend the apocalypse if it came to that.......so Nigerian youths should know that the recycled politicians are our enemies... irrespective of party....

Commentor:
Igbos want more than they deserve.

They love to paint other tribes as a monolith such as categorising Nupe as Hausa, Igbira as notherner even Bini as Yoruba.

All these groups and more require representation especially if they've been supportive of a democratically elected government.

how did you come to this your foolish assumption? Is it the same igbos all over Bida doing their business that will call a Nupe man fulina , or gwarri man in Paiko kanuri? Or you bst will just wake up from sleep to vent your frustrations on the igbos who knew every other tribes more after themselves in Nigeria? I don't know why the so much hate for the igbo tribe , don't even get the reason for all these propaganda against the igbos.
