I stay at unguwan rimi
So you reside less than 10km from where I am now. Interesting coincidence.

Don't mind the grande Mumu who did not understand the question.

Nothing more vexatious than an idiiot telling smarter people that they are dumb.

Don't mind him. I know his types. They are the ones who always claim children come from God Almighty.

Bringing innocent children to come and suffer for their parents' foolishness. Very pathetic set of individuals. #spits

Been without a job since March. Life has been really tough. My wife is 7months pregnant. Thought about having an abortion for her at 5months but was scared of loosing her. She's not the fit type, so I have to spend more time with her at home.

You could check out Ui/UX Design. Although, I have no idea if the jobs can be done on a phone but check it out. You need to pay to learn some skills. Check on Coursera, apply for financial aid for the program of your choice and then start.

It's a really terrible

Lots of folks are going through deep tragic stuff

Graduates are working in sites as labourers ..1000 naira daily pay

People that lost their jobs that were fetching them a quarter of a million per month...are working as dispatch riders or personal drivers for less than 50k.

Those that can afford accommodation are squatting in uncompleted construction sites and restaurants all over Lagos

At some point those that have no choice take to crime, Yahoo and online scamming, prostitution, kidnapping etc

It's a big mess..you are hopeless unless you have connect or a miraculous breakthrough comes your way

The very unlucky ones lose their minds when they can't endure any further...the mind snaps

All the same God is still good, if you can persevere, be patience and keep hope alive
Help will come your way

Quite sad that you are earning such a meager amount of money, I will say that a lot can still be done to come out of this situation. Some schools in the city like PHC pay as much as 100k for a graduate with your qualification. You can also do private lessons to increase your income. All the best
I did my national youth service in PHC 2018/2019 in one of the military schools. The school was so impressed by my commitment and hard work that the commandant wanted to retain me. Many of the staff wanted me to stay too. But tribal politics kicked in (I don't want to go into details, please). I had assurance of being retained right up to the month of my POP. By the time I realized what was going on, I had already passed out and had no where to stay and be looking for jobs in PH again. That was how I lost that one.

30K? I currently earn 16k as a teacher in a private school with my BTech degree in Physics/Electronics. Might I add that I am the first born of the family and currently solely responsible for the school fees of three siblings, and to a large extent, their feeding too? The depression alone no be here. I had such high hopes of securing a job after service. May God help us in this country. [

You need to first understand and agree that unemployment is first of all a choice. I had this mind set before I graduated from school and I have never really seen myself as unemployed. If i was not working full time somewhere I always had a skill that I was using to generate income.

Even if you get or have a stable source of income now, you still need to think of other options, as job security is low and food insecurity and inflation are on the high side.
Leece:
Reminiscing, after a couple of years, i finally understand the grievances of millions of the unemployed. i mean one can literally feel the sting as soon as you are thrusted into the cold waters of reality after service.

Some people advocated saving allowee for the rainy days. Without mincing words, having obligations and being the sole facilitator of your well-being comes at a price of never having the privilege of having your money to yourself.

So then, what do you do? you graduated with the right honors and somewhat deemed intelligent but the course you seem to be charting has no longitude & latitude.

It is easy to be poetic about joblessness and talk about the mess we are in with the present Nigeria while some wallow in depression, constantly doubting their ability.

Prices have doubled, Food is for the rich.

it is as bad as it gets, is your faith waning or you remain staunch in your faith of a bright future? How do you pay bills?

How do you cope with the depression and seeing friends well on their way to that which you covet yourself?

Do you feel things or its just me, myself and my thoughts.

share your thoughts...........

I would rather Sai Baba in 2015, than have an idiiot, called Jona-daft, that open the treasury for everyone to loot the country dry.

I would rather Sai Baba in 2019, than be atikulated and support giving the keys to the treasury to a known bastard crook called Atiku.

Now, there is no doubt that Baba Sai na foool who cannot run a country, but I would rather have him than those other bastard two.

The error Nigerians made and are paying for was mostly in 2011. They could have voted for Ribadu but they voted for a failure called Jona-daft.
