Frankrobbn1: Hello Frank, I’m a first time applicant and I’m yet to get a reply from the embassy since I submitted my biometrics in April. I didn’t include my travel history in my old international passport, and I have over 14 pages of stamps from my different travels between 2014 and 2016, with a One year resident permit. What do you advice I do. Is there a way I can use this to assist my application at this stage? 1 Like |

ODUNESKI: IRCC didn't request for GRE for NSE, therefore submitting one in place of the IELTS Certificate doesn't tally. If you choose to opt out, you're to advise IRCC in writing and provide reasons as to why you can't provide the IELTS. It will end in praise |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by makano: 3:41pm On Jun 29, 2021 |
While u await response from Frank, If u insist on including ur previous travel history, u can go ahead by sending a WEBFORM to the respective Visa office handling your application. Most times travel history really helps cos this tells the Visa officer that you aint a threat to their country especially if you havnt disobeyed any immigration rules in the previous countries you have visited.. But my personal opinion is adding or including anything now might not make a difference cos am sure the Visa officers are in the final stage of your application, since you said u are an April applicants and we have already seen in the past 3 days that May applicants are already getting their final decisions from the embassy.. But Like I said, if ur inner spirit is pushing u to include your previous travel hsitories, please go ahead by sending them a webform.. Peace Kriptune: 1 Like |

it doesn't affect anything.. Just that your application will go through the regular/Normal timeline.. Of recent we saw an applicant who didn't submit any document or reply to the NSE request and he/ she got PPR after waiting for months(Regular Timeline).. You ignoring NSE doesnt lead to refusal.. Hello Mr. Frank, i need a clarification from you please. I have secured admission in Toronto and now wish to proceed with the study visa application. My sponsor (my Uncle) is in the US, and one requirement is to upload MyBankStatement for the NSE route. How do i go about getting this sponsorship if he's not in Nigeria. Thank you. Frankrobbn1: |

How to increase your CHANCES OF GETTING A JOB IN Canada This information would be very beneficial for International Students, those going for PGWP & PR holders arriving in Canada First of all, they don't use CV in Canada, "résumé" is used to apply for JOBS in Canada & it's the CANADIAN STYLE RÉSUMÉ that is required. See the two links link below to download Canada Résumé template.docx (find the attachment in blue color) https://www.nairaland.com/6567181/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/17#102092733 Also see here for another sample https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/50#89629360 From what I know about applying for Jobs in Canada, you have to strictly tailor your Résumé and Cover letter (if required) to a Job advert. Reason why most people don't get positive response as regards jobs they apply for in Canada is cos they use one résumé to apply for multiple job adverts. This is very generic and vague. If you are applying for 20 jobs, you have to compulsorily take your time and tailor your Résumé to the the Requirements and Job duties of that 20 jobs. That means you would be drafting 20 different résumés and 20 Cover Letters. An illustration Let's assume Am a Software Developer by Profession and i saw a job advert for a Data Scientist (who is proficient in R-program, Python, Oracle etc. with experience) Fortunately for me, i have skills and work experience for the Position of a Data Scientist, I would have to draft a Résumé by tailoring my skills in Python, Oracle, R. etc. with experience to the Job advert despite being a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER So for every JOB ADVERT IN Canada, you must always draft your résumé by tailoring your Skills and Work experience to that Job advert, if you normalize sending a Generic résumé to every Job Openings, it would always end in the trash can. Now we gonna be Looking at what we call ATS (APPLICATION TRACKING SYSTEM) Many of us might have heard of ATS before, for the purpose of who don't know about it An applicant tracking system (ATS) is a human resources software that allows employers to organize large numbers of applicant resumes. Recruiters and hiring managers can search their ATS by keyword to discover well-matched applicants This Software is so strict that, if you don't adhere to the requirements of a Job advert in Canada, your RÉSUMÉ will go straight to the trash can. Reasons why you gotta be tailoring your RÉSUMÉ to every Job advert HR managers have set two stages to review a Résumé - ATS Stage - Interview Stage HRs in companies like KPMG, Deliotte and some fintech companies are making use of ATS Once a Résumé is able to pass an ATS evaluation, there is 80% chances the owner of that résumé is gonna be called for an Interview In a nutshell, avoid submitting anyhow résumé or generic résumé for a Job advert in Canada 33 Likes 5 Shares |

Dabricious:Please check, I replied you. Hello house! I have sent an inquiry to the GAA but I still want to get answers here. If A arrives at Pearson Toronto Airport by 1pm on 20th and B arrives Pearson Toronto Airport by 6pm on 20th, is it possible for A and B to share the cost of quarantine at a GAA for the same room(2 beds)? |

I did my medicals 21st of June, I hadn't gotten any updates from my CIC account, it was still showing 'you still need a medical exam'. I guess they hadn't received it yet. Yesterday I was conflicted between uploading the e-Medical info sheet and waiting but I just decided to upload it anyways. Just checked today and my status has been uploaded to passed. Waiting on the correspondence letter now (P.S. I'm a minor so I had to submit the custodianship form also. I'm still waiting for them to receive it. I'm nervous about this) 3 Likes |

LadyBlaq: According to IRCC, The only way two people can quarantine together is if they are related. To even close that gap, I will advice both A & B board same flight. This will be more reasonable rather than waiting for the other party to join. Quarantine procedures are done on flight bases. If you noticed, on your ArriveCan app, it will ask you for your flight number. Canadians are guys that sticks by the rule especially those guys at the border. My candid advice, board the same flight and arrive same time. https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/isolation Please read to avoid any possible fine of 5000 CAD. Congratulations again on your PPR. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Anon123: There are web forms specifically the different offices, they have different link and there is another that goes to a general responder, who sends it to the office where you file is. The essence of specific web form is so you update only the office where your case file is subsequently rather than all the offices. It will end in praise |
