Please this in not the purpose for which this thread was set up. You'll notice that whenever anyone comes for arguments sake i avoid such commentator. We know they're just either having misdirected zeal or Apostates that does not want to see the truth flourish.

I was born a deeper life, in my adolescence I became a so called "born again" christian and damn I took it too far.

Then 2009 came and I met a JW girl who made me got interested in Watchtower teachings, out of curiosity I started studying with them and sometimes attend meetings, but I learned more reading every available literature, both online and offline.

At first it was intriguing and a whole world of new knowledge opened for me, my sense of reasoning became wide and ultimately I now understand basic truth like trinity hoax, what happens when we die, God's promise of a new earth, etc.

As I increased the frequency of meetings and asked more questions, the veil covering the reality in JW organization started wearing off my eyes and I saw the hypocrisy, the cover ups, the inconsistencies, the ever changing truth with new light, so many unscriptural practices, double standards, and finally I see that they became what they preached against at inception!

I was really hurt knowing all these because at first I thought I have found the truth. I couldn't go back to pentecostal worship because they're even the bigger lie and right now although I believe in Jesus but I no longer attend any organized worship.

But if I later see a need to resume going to any worship center JW will be my choice but then I will be seen as an apostate because there's no way am covering up for any sexual abuse for any brother or sister, I will surely report to the authorities, I will not go out for preaching and have my hour recorded for some self appointed "governing body", I will not believe that the governing body is the faithful and descrete slave because they're not, I will not also need additional literatures from watchtower in order to make sense of the scripture, I will not subject myself to "dedicating" myself to Jehovah after I repent and believe in Jesus's ransom because it's unscriptural.

In essence, JW is just another christian sect claiming to be "the only way" to salvation, but they're not, Jesus is the only way and I will do my best to follow him without any third party interference.

TRINITY is a concept that was enforced on people so whether you understand it or not you're to believe (trust) it, whereas the title "Governing Body" is what our global overseers are called.

They are the Governing Body of the entire Christian congregations everywhere true Christians gather in Jesus name, it's whatever the Apostles decided upon that will become the norms back then. So JWs are using the title Governing Body to tell members that Jesus appointed a group that was overseeing his followers throughout the earth!

Jesus is here appointing the little group and giving them the authority to oversee his followers in everywhere they are. So whatever they decided upon on earth the heavens will support them. For your information that's why you can't find any other group than JWs that's teaching Bible truth!


Dedication is a teaching that helps a Christian know that before baptism you need to go to God in heartfelt prayer, open your heart to Him after studying the Bible with His people, promise to live up to the requirements and beg Him to assist you with His active force (Holy Spirit)
This are minor things that is explainable, Jesus told his few chosen men:
“I still have many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them now. However, when that one comes, the spirit of the truth, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak of his own initiative, but what he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things to come" John 16:12-13

So how will you know if something is not what the Holy Spirit told Jesus' followers to do?
Well such a teaching will not yield positive result, but when you see it working out what is fine then be rest assured that it's the WORK of God's Holy Spirit! Matthew 7:16-18 compare to James 2:18-26

But i was determined to find God's people and i wasn't expecting perfection from them because there has never been a time when God's people were perfect yet the sign that they're God's choice will be seen! Matthew 5:13-16

First of all Jesus didn't appoint governing body to oversee anything, if He did He would have mentioned it in the bible.

Secondly you are silent about your teaching about dedication as one of the requirements for salvation, its also not mentioned anywhere in the bible?
