From what I read in earlier update, they said it is due to the policy of FG that car multinationals like Toyota were unable to open assembly plants in Nigeria

If they snubbed the biggest market, they should not be allowed to operate in that market.

Just to let you know that the Federal house of rep spends billions buying Toyota car as official cars this year.

Imagine! with all the Nigerians die hard on Toyota plus including all the show on that inferior design toyota. I doubt if Ghanians ever used Toyota as much as Nigerians.

You are not smart, why you should tax the hell of them?, you've forgotten Ghana is part of ECOWAS meaning free movement of goods and services within the region.
Toyota will assemble there and bring their goods into Nigeria under treaty of ECOWAS and no Tarriff will be applied to it. No thanks to that idiot in Asorock with his bad policies

I don't understand the comments I read here.

Toyota should have had it's assembly plant in Nigeria even before now. Out of 7-8 cars in every 10 are Toyota product. Toyota have really made huge money from Nigeria.

Seconded. All Toyota products should be heavily taxed.
