This is exactly what I do these days. If change remain good, at least I won't be disappointed. I just pity salary earners, and some states are still failing to pay 18k per month.

You don't even need to pity salary earners...

The people who will be feeling this most is people who are still looking for jobs, you know those days, some people are still very much available to give out the little they can afford...

But now, with the way things are in the country, nobody don't even want to give out even a kobo...

Salary earners, at the end of the day, they would still get salary...

If you check nairaland the amount of beggars you see ehn no be here, not their fault, things are very difficult out there now....

Nah God go help us for this country

Chai!
It is audible to the deaf and visible to the blind that the vegetable of a president is not just incompetent but a monumental disaster.

But u see, everyone is fighting for his stomach so the govt can just hire any baggar for 2k to do a counter protest.

If they ask me whether I've been through a disaster? I will proudly say yes. Because I've experienced BUhari

E go be!

In the past one could conveniently ask others to help one make purchases, but in recent times, You just have to go yourself, else the person returns your money and list.

Goshh.

I did a little food survey last week on some food items in the North.
Mudu Maize..#280 in June 2020 while its #420 now
Mudu Rice....#500 in June 2020 while its #750 now
Kilo Meat...#1,400 in June 2020 while its #1,900 now
Mudu Beans..#500 in June 2020 while its #900 now
Ave big 5 tubes Yams In june #2,200 while its #3,500 now
G oil bottle...#350 in June 2020 while its #700 now
Big sized Bread...#300 last year and now #350

What’s the guarantee that things will change after the remaining two years? In my experience, once prices increase in Nigeria, they hardly ever come back down. Traders get used to selling at that high price such that even when they buy cheaper, they still want to sell at the higher price. People just adjust to the new prices and carry on

We truly have horrible leaders but we are primarily our own problem.

God bless you, we Nigerian are our own enemy too...

You see people buying things cheap but will purposely hijack price due to the present state of the nation...

God go help us for this country

When earning vs when spending.

Earning: N1000 + N10 = N1010
Spending: N1000 - N10 = N72

Each time I come back from the market these days I will have to sit down and calculate everything I bought over and over again just to be sure pickpockets didn't steal my money.
funny man.

Real Grace of God.

Ordinary to make spaghetti last night, I spent 1500. And this is just a meal for one. Note, i had spaghetti at home and a few condiments.

This morning, I wanted to create a thread and ask how one can manage or go about spending so little for a meal. It's just crazy.

Today now, I want to make soup, my mind dey cut hahahahaaaa...

By Grace of God I must cook soup today. Lol.. this is not funny though.

We truly have horrible leaders but we are primarily our own problem.
Once a sane leader comes in, his advisers may tell him to review the border closure on some items, food can come in from other countries till we can solve the insecurity bedeviling the country.
When there is enough food and commodity in the market, prices will fall.
Those who r supposed to be in the farm are in idp camps all because of fulani herdsmen.
The ones that r fortunate to be in the farm, have to pay the bandits landing fees before they can access their farms.
Lets just rejoice nnamdi kanu has been caught.

Guy u are doing well, keep it up. All u have to do is expand in other to commercialize it. Agric and IT is the main way
As for Nigerians we deserve the hardship, we really deserve it most especially northern people

I honestly don't know how long we can endure because things are already out of hands.

The rate of robbery this side is crazy, homes, shops even churches are being burgled on a daily basis.

It's worrisome
which side is that?

People like us that are being owed 5 months salary, sometimes I wonder how I manage to survive.

When people see me they think I'm loaded not knowing that I can't do bulk buying anymore.

I look for where they sell cheap food stuff and go for them. The things I see as cheap this week, next week they become expensive because of increase in price.

For health reasons, I can't eat some food and it's affecting my pocket and gives me headache because of thinking.

God help me

Wasting food in my house is worse than armed robbery right now
