true2god:

Thank you my brother. It is only a criminal and evil organization that will tell it members not to report the incidents of rape, child molestation or even murder to the authorities in order to cover-up the crimes going on in that organization. The organization want to appear good and decent to the public hence need to cover up for it mess.
In many countries, protecting perpetrators of evil, the same way JW does, is a criminal offense that requires some jail term. It is even ironic that the watchtower, who are fond of quoting related and unrelated Bible verses to reinforce their position, willl suddenly be blind to Bible verses that mandated us to obey the people' in authorities. This is very crazy, manipulative and mind controlling on the part of the watchtower organization.
Anyway, we have millions of people out there who lack critical thinking and are capable of being easily manipulated. The watchtower organization is taking advantage of the gullible nature of their members to control and determine how they think and view things.

Dear true2god, despite all what you're saying about JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES below is what your brother (falseprophet) typed with his own fingers:

if I later see a need to resume going to any worship center JW will be my choice

Jehovah's Witnesses, may God continue to bless you guys for locating me! smiley

MaxInDHouse:
The topic of my thread is "Study The Bible With Jehovah's Witnesses" whoever wants to participate have just two options:
© Show interest and tell us why he will like to study the Bible with the world's most vilified and controversial religious group.
© Ask direct questions pertaining to what seems difficult for him to understand this group.
Apart from this two options any other commentator only need to pass a remark and MOVE ON.
So when someone joins the discussion saying there is nothing to write home about religious gatherings but if he should reconsider going back to any religious group JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES will be his choice.
Surely he has made his points clear! smiley
That's why i commended him and highlighted the point needed in his post after all he didn't come for arguments but to express his own thought on the ongoing discussion. smiley

Now this is where he exposed himself!

After commending him and thanking him for the contribution he began going off track trying to initiate fruitless arguments. I still pointed out what is needed in his comments and showed appreciation for his concern but he is like harbouring some kind of animosity which he will like to pour out.
So i decided to follow him up in order to know exactly his mission! smiley
If his choice is JWs then he's supposed to tell the forum why choosing JWs over the others since JWs doctrines, manner of evangelism, judicial decisions and way of life totally contradicts what others teaches. But the opposite is this commentator's behavior.
He began arguing about why HIS CHOISEST keeps posing as the only group belonging to God!
From subtle entry to fierce opposition of the same group he called HIS CHOISEST and bent on proving his CHOICE is as worthless as the ones he vowed never to return to. smiley
Then after noticing how JWs proved to be loyal and faithful to their own choice he began showing his true colour like "don't take any form of worship serious, God is everywhere"

Please what exactly is the position of this commentator? smiley
For your information i always study each of you thoroughly before i engage you in serious discussions. None of you has proved to be like a Serpent that's neither here nor there except acholardey. The attitude of this falseprophet guy perfectly matches acholardey leaving no room for doubts! smiley
He is the only Nairalander that's opposed to JWs yet can't stand any other form of worship but anytime he's coming on Nairaland it's only to say "JWs are OK but they shouldn't claim they know all, others are also up to the task as Christians" But watch acholardey closely you'll see that he's presently associating with no other group but JWs because the latest info at our meetings he will bring to this forum only to tackle the claim that JWs can't be God's representatives.
So i've been studying the anonymous commentator who had nothing to do with the religious section this year except my thread but decided to continue criticizing the one and only religious Organization he himself publicly declared "They are his CHOICE" smiley

Decision making can be fluid and subjected to changes depending on circumstances. One can make certain statement to keep the other at ease and can make other statement to unsettled someone depending on what he wants to achieve. That the guy initially said if he wants to study he would prefer doing that with the JW, that's not a straightjacket decision that MUST be enforced. He can say that to be diplomatic with you and keep you at ease (while he didn't actually mean it) or say such from a sincere heart. That depends on his real intent. However going with his latter statements, which you find very shocking an unacceptable (because you wanted him to massage your ego by keep speaking good about the watchtower) it is obvious he is not going back to JW. This is because he had been there, just as your are currently are, and had seen many practices and teachings that he felt unacceptable.

Nevertheless, what you are doing is to subtly attack him using his earlier post as a bait in order to emotionally blackmail him, or psychologically manipulative him. That psychological manipulation is being worked on you by the watchtower doesn't mean that you can apply the same to someone else here.

On a sidebar, while your watchtower magazines are filled with Catholic (and other Christan sect) bashing, I have never seen you guys bash Islam in your magazines. Do you know why? You guys know the soft and hard path to thread to avoid sinking. The very moment you guys started bashing Islam, that's when you willl understand the meaning of 'mind your business'.

@MaxInDHouse, I see you’re still giving these people attention grin grin
Even Witnesses who were once overseers but turned apostate know the way the organization handles child abuse cases is entirely different from what is being said here but let’s allow them do their thing.
I even saw one quoting Romans 13:1 yet he’s constantly wailing about his government. Doesn’t that suggest that these people remain subject to the government not because any scripture told them to but because the government can display aggressive show of force if threatened or rebelled against? To them, subjection to your fellow human should be as a result of force on the part of the other person so if they see grown up men submitting themselves to their fellow imperfect men and no force is being applied—such that is being done in Jehovah’s organization—they immediately think they’re blind or brainwashed, meanwhile that is is Scriptural requirement. Ephesians 5:21, Hebrews 13:7,17

Please how are they different from the three scoundrels, Korah, Dathan and Abiram, who rejected Jehovah’s appointed leader, Moses due to pride? Numbers 16:1-3,13
Maybe they thought that Jehovah should relate directly with them the same way he did with Moses and anything less than that, they would not accept!
These people should know that submitting ourselves to those taking the lead amongst God’s people is not because we are brainless or cannot think for ourselves but we do so because we have to show Jehovah that we are truly humble(1Peter 5:5,6) because someone who thinks his fellow human shouldn’t give him direction on what to do, is nothing but a proud and haughty person and we both know Jehovah detests such ones. Proverbs 16:5, James 4:6

On a different note, I do hope you’re enjoying the Friday morning session of the Powerful By Faith! convention program. Well done, my brother. smiley

We are different because no where in the scriptures, I repeat no where in the scriptures is your religious leaders ever appointed by God to lead his people. In addition, who are these appointed leaders of yours placed in the seat of Moses? Be kind to share grin

Maybe they thought that Jehovah should relate directly with them the same way he did with Moses and anything less than that, they would not accept

You are still on "Maybe" Lool! That's what you get when some people taught you that God has only one channel of communication to billions of people and salvation is dependent on that channel of communication that is not inspired, error filled and perfect spiritual food not guaranteed. It is such imperfect food that contribute to many leaving the organization aka God which you call apostates that will be smoked.

Now this: Hebrew 1: 2 tells you in this final age he has spoken to us through his son. What did that Son say John 14: 23 the son said anyone that heed his words(not that of your religious leaders) he added he and the father will come and abide with that person.

You will rather heed the words of your religious masters(of whom you can't show from the scriptures that they have divine appointment) you equate with MOSES(who had divine appointment) than the person you call your EXEMPLARY(Jesus who has the seal of approval as invested by the father).

You always like to show you know and feel you have made a point. Try to always read your comment before posting.

Side attraction.........you and your likes don't INSULT people that I know. Take a look at the below..

Synonyms for scoundrel

baddie (or baddy), beast, brute, caitiff, devil, evildoer, fiend, heavy, hound, knave, meanie (also meany), miscreant, monster, nazi, no-good, rapscallion, rascal, reprobate, rogue, savage, scalawag (or scallywag), scamp, scapegrace, varlet, villain, wretch.

Shine your eyes wella. Its another reference point for you.

Now this is getting interesting!

It now boils down to how God relates to his people today, before you derail silent listeners with how your governing body has been given the keys let's see what the bible says concerning this matter:

Hebrews 1:1-2 - In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2. but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.

As the bible said above God spoke through Moses, Elijah, Ezekiel, Isaiah, etc, but now God has spoken to us through his Son Jesus Christ, indeed the words of Jesus is recorded in the bible for our direction and guidance.

Before Jesus ascended to heaven he made a promise that he will send a comforter who will direct us further:

John 14:26 (KJV) - But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Indeed as promised, the holy spirit came on the day of pentecost on the apostles which inspired them to write many epistles for our edification today, and yes the holy spirit is still active today, there's no mention of holy spirit handing over to JWs or governing body.

We both agree the bible is the word of God, and all christians read from it, we get to know about all the wonderful promises of God through the bible and no other book has been added after the book of revelation.

So any doctrine not thought or mentioned in the bible is not of God and that includes trinity doctrine, dedication, governing body, general overseers, etc.

And no, God does not speak through the watchtower today, He still speaks through his word (bible) and holy spirit!

On another topic:

Is there any record anywhere within the watchtower documenting the actual number of all those who have partaken in the memorial, because by now more than 144,000 may have partaking thereby shooting the "anointed christians" above 144,000.

Not to mention that there have been thousands of anointed christians in the 1st century alone and many more thousands between the 2nd century and 1914.

I guess it's just an assumption by your governing body since no one can go to heaven and take a row call.

Let's just assume for a seconds that your calculations are accurate, it also means that JWs also believe that the dead anointed christians are currently in heaven with angels and Jesus in stack contrast of your teaching that the dead don't exist anywhere!

I have heard you Sir, and i love the way you've help him to say part of what he has in mind! cheesy

Jehovah's Witnesses teachings and doctrines totally differs from all other religions {John 17:14} the GB serves as representatives of Jehovah and Jesus Christ in our midst {Hebrews 13:7,17} any act of disobedience to them is tantamount to a rebellious act against our God {Numbers 12:8} and that is what keeps us together and going as one big family. John 17:20-23

What exactly is his position now?
Does he still feels like returning?

Because his demands totally negates our faith, all members must remain in total submission to the GB whatever decision they makes is what the entire Organization will follow.

So there's no room for indecision we just want to know his position on the matter, NO STORY! cheesy

Nobody is begging you to come back to JW.org you either live by the standard or take the exit door!

debbycreamy:

Hello nairalanders,
I won't say it's my friend sister or whatever,it's me. It's my question
For 5years of marriage, it's been conflicting about this church matter.
Where in the Bible did they say it's compulsory for the wife to go to the husband's church? I attended dominion city, and he attends redeem (RCCG), I tried for the first two years to follow him to redeem, but I couldn't feel it, every Sunday it's like going and coming from a wedding not a church, that feeling of feeling the Holy Spirit and being blessed is not there, I don't know who understands this feeling.
I talked to him in d third year he allowed me go back to my dominion city, and in d fourth year he stopped me again, I'm a worker there o, now till the fifth year I'm still forced to attend redeem, I have tried my best to open my heart to the church but no way...
Their ways just tire me at redeem, I miss the love, togetherness, prayers, worship and preaching at dominion city. Please I'm sorry I mentioned the name of churches i know some people love redeem, so I'm sorry.
Now for a month now, I have not gone to any church, and I'm tired of the whole thing, please matured advice needed. Thanks

To the last part of this your post, should you tell them they share common denominators with other Christian denominations that people that are dead are in heaven. It will look as if you are saying nonsense. It is not even a case of assume. They have an article that says FIRST RESURRECTION UNDER WAY. In that article it was even mentioned that already resurrected members of the 144,000 are the ones dishing out latest truth from Jehovah's table right there in heaven. grin

Not to mention that there have been thousands of anointed christians in the 1st century alone and many more thousands between the 2nd ce grin grin ;Dntury and 1914.

Bros grin grin.
Your last paragraph thoroughly exposed your frustrations and ignorance about the holy Scriptures.
Rather than study God's word thoroughly & be well grounded, infatuation for the girl you dey chase no let you concentrate.
You come online dey spill GIBBERISH. grin grin

According to your Bible, Isaiah 43:10-12,21 , Exodus 3:10, Isaiah 6:8 & Matthew 12:15-18, Acts 15:14, is the quartet of Moses, Isaiah & Jesus Christ & the disciples JEHOVAH'S Witnesses, chosen Servants of the true God?

Does the Governing Council in Jerusalem @ Acts 15:2-9 mirrors the Governing Body?
Yes.
JEHOVAH'S witnesses have received holy spirit to serve as JEHOVAH'S Servants on earth.

Dedication- Exodus 24:7,Mark8:34, John17:6-7.
Governing Body/ Overseers. Exodus 7:1-2, Acts15:2-9,14. Hebrews 13:7,17.

Bros, is the judge who knows wetin God no know. grin grin.
Who told you the Governing Body dey chose who makes up the sealed number of 144,000 chosen to co-rule with Christ?

Bros, no dey DECEIVE yourself. grin grin

You said falseprophet decisions is "subject to change depending on circumstances."

What then, is your basis for spurious claim of manipulation when you know falseprophet wasn't under duress to express himself (for studying with JWs or against some JWs beliefs unacceptable to him) on this platform?

Max said
JWs don't want any stories, if you're no more interested you're FREE to go and join any other better performing religion OF YOUR CHOICE!
Where is manipulation you're talking about?

Why would he choose to study with JWs when he knows some beliefs are unacceptable to him today?
Are you a mind reader, to know if falseprophet may have a rethink tomorrow and reconsider his stand today?

So, Bros, you dey pick some & discard others like say your dey shopping mall (pretending say you dey church)?

You said JWs will always be your choice so now that you're seeing with your own eyes that the Organization will obey whatever commad the Governing Body gives us what have you resolve to do?
Nobody leaves the Organization or turns against the Organization that will be welcomed or greeted anywhere on this planet by JWs!
So your pathetic cry all over social media can't change the standard!
That's how Jehovah's people always stick to the chosen ones right from the days of Noah till today. That's the heritage of God's people!smiley

Bros, the Screenshots evidences from k2radio & Watchtower proven you are LYING on this public forum and WAILING with defamatory claims upandan.

Of course i'm talking as a top intelligence agent!

Only JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES Organization are openly opposed to interfaith marriage, all others often shy away.
Now this is a worker in one Church married to another worker in another Church. What is the problem in their marriage? Interfaith! smiley
Nobody is saying others don't have issues but a stitch in time saves nine, had it been they considered the difference between their two different religions claiming Christian surely this will not happen!

To the last part of this your post, should you tell them they share common denominators with other Christian denominations that people that are dead are in heaven. It will look as if you are saying nonsense. It is not even a case of assume. They have an article that says FIRST RESURRECTION UNDER WAY. In that article it was even mentioned that already resurrected members of the 144,000 are the ones dishing out latest truth from Jehovah's table right there in heaven. grin

Achorladey is saying nonsense, proven his deceptive TWIST.
Have JWs ever preached to Achorladey, "people that are dead are in heaven?"

Sebi i wasn't mentioning you before while you're responding each time i quote your second moniker. Now i'm quoting you directly, so answer the question:

You've been with JWs and you're opposed to the way we view instructions from our GB, so what have you resolve to do? Are you staying or going back to Hellfire people? cheesy

good you admit it is an issue and this issue is not restricted to only interfaith. So when you have examples of those that are marriages of interfaith doing well bring it here and the numerous examples I made mention of. Then we will apply your intelligence in studying all of them with Jehovah's witnesses and the see how people who supported interfaith marriages were successful and boldly supported while you and your organization opposed it.
