Oga it seems you have lost touch wit reality or you are one of those that shy away from the truth

The last time i remember i didnt quote u the person i quote saw the light in my response but instead u saw the darkness

U have no idea of the mass corruption the country have been plugged into most especially contract inflation... so tell me what Will 100M naira do for this vultures who dont mind inflate contracts just to pocket some cash for themselves.....

The truth remains except corruption is tackled no matter of money invested in the league will yield returns and productivity.... unless the league is fully privatised that is sold to an entirely corporate body

Forget realism... As the coach,he isn't supposed to say it.. At least not publicly..

It seems like you underestimate how much impact his words can have on the team's performance...

Look at the Euros... See small country like Hungary giving the big boys headache.. See how Austria held Italy yesterday.... If Rohr was their coach,he would be telling the to settle for mediocrity
Minus his tactical deficiencies, this is the main reason why Rohr has to leave. Wrapping his cowardice and lack of belief in pseudo reverse psychology. Even a weak team will perform well with a courageous coach in charge and once in a while with luck such teams have gone ahead to win trophies. Think Greece in Euro 2004.

When i read this story on Gloria Alozie, and how its same old same old, can't but agree with you that Salvation is nowhere near our Sports Administration soon.

Exactly bro
I blame the senates who always stamp whatever the executives bring for their approval
The essence of the law makers was to screen the ministers, act as watchdog to the executive, check on the executive excess and lots more .

Had it been the law makers thoroughly screened this men we wont have square pegs in round holes I am so sure dalung solomon know nothing about sports and football at all..... the current minister has limited knowledge about football, they're politicians not passionate about sports. The essence of being ministers is to boost their political relevance, make money and thereafter go contest for governorship role in their states... in Nigeria sensitive positions that requires technocrats are given to party faithfuls, money bags who sponsored elections and so we do have misfits for sensitive roles

Andrew but you forgot to clarify that some of them only qualified for the second round because they finished as third best losers.

That however doesn't invalidate your point about Rohr being an average/poor tactician.

One thing you can't take away from European teams is that they are well coached. That's why teams like Scotland, Hungary, Wales can beat good teams on a good day. Most importantly they play without fear or complex unlike most African teams. This one of the reasons Gernot's constant whining about the low level of our team is getting annoying. Defeating your own team with negative thoughts ahead of the game before it has even started.

No one has said we should not be realistic about our expectations but if you plan accordingly many top teams can be beaten.

Imagine Rohr coming up against a viciously attack minded Brazil Olympic team in 96. He'd capitulate without a whimper of resistance.
SE gets beat but I've never seen a coach of the SE with such spinelessness

What about Denmark on this euros bro ?

They aren’t a weak team but trust me no single soul was tipping them for the semis

The two commendable things rohr has done for our national team is convincing foreign based players to pledge allegiance and also assembling a young team that as played together since he was appointed.

though I over emphasized on that, but you would agree with me that these foreign players really improved our team... No coach ever made more push for foreign born players like rohr has done.

Did the Greek manager ever come out to say his team was going to beat any single team in that competition before a game?

Basco and Andrew make una they calm down too

Nothing we’ll do or say here will change the current our local league football is going.

We’re only making enemies out of ourselves.

We all bash basco forgetting without him almost most of us don’t give a crap about our local players only transfer news na we won here.

He’s biased about our league because of the passion he has for it. We’re are angry because of our expectations from the home base side.

We’re all one side of the same coin

Yeah we do go overboard sometimes.

See how I’m bashing anayo pages back. To an outsider it would seem I hate the guy. But the expectations I have from his is way too high. I expect him to be our next mbappe or gnabry
