Okay, it's a welcome development to oguta LGAs, because it will improve security and build investors confidence.

In between the Nigeria Army have taken over the abandoned rochas hospital at Obinze and are about to operationalize it. The Navy is expected to do the same.
Ok, still not good with it but it's fine if it's what majority of Imolites want, so be it

the military have this habit of land snatching and restricting certain developments around there major bases. Their base also becomes a collation point for northern cattle missioneries plus a lot of other reasons

I agree with you, based on land grabbing, but the pros of the base out weighs the cons

don't see any pros to the base, it won't host large surface vessels

Another highbrow estate in Owerri. Not as neat and posh as Udenwa Estate, but i reckon its second best.

Outside of Lagos and Abuja, Owerri seems to have the highest number of highbrow estates filled with well appointed and exquisite mansions. What let's them down are the terrible state of their network of inner roads. If the state gov't wouldn't fix them....to world-class standards as befits their status, then i suggest all the millionaire residents get together and fix them themselves....at least to the standards of similar estates in Abuja.

Civic Centre Estate, Owerri

owerri doesn't look like a state capital..

why all the hype here nah..

living in this town could be so depressing...

The contractor was incompetent, the road was revoked and re-awarded to Leo9 const. The company that handled relief market road, dick tigers road, and polynekede road. Construction will resume in few days time according to official source.

I support you 100%, trees would have made the road look exotic, same issue with chukwuma Nwoaha road.

Who are these mushroom construction companies? Will the Imo government die if they award contract to the likes of Julius Berger or Arab Contractors to construct more quality roads that will last?

Craneburg construction, is the only reputable company handling contracts in imo state now .
Inability of government to engage JB is due to paucity of funds.

What is better, paying smaller amount to mushroom companies every few years because the roads don't last or awarding them to reputable construction companies that will construct roads that can last you decades. These government people are just using it as an avenue to steal.

From their work so far in imo state, the contractor has been adjoined to be the best, and is the choice contractor for any major project in imo state currently.
Although snippet has it that RCC will return to reconstruct the two flyovers
