na my area be that o! The road is in a pitiable condition.
Orlu must not produce the next governor. Enough is enough!!!
Almost all the roads in Orlu are bad. Uzodinma carried his development and fixated it at Owerri. Even the road that leads to Omuma his hometown is bad

I'll love to know, is there a particular reason why past governors from Orlu all decided to abandon their local government? What exactly is chasing them from developing their area?

Substandard tiny flyover. Ozodimgba is building another useless flyover just like Okorocha did.

Entrance to Onitsha is good and looks better than entrance to Owerri. Most roads in Owerri are dilapidated, I was coming to Owerri through PH, almost everywhere is muddy with dilapidated roads everywhere, I was asking myself what’s Ozodimgba actually doing in imo state. Imo state is a failed state with no government in place.

[quote author=Ttipsy post=132677114]Oga that section of the road need immediate attention Wish Anambra state government will do something on that effect. Just imagine a first time visitor to Onitsha seeing that?First Niger bridge is a gateway to Anambra state especially Onitsha, it will be so unfortunate for a first time visitors to see how dilapidated the road looks immediately after the bridge [/quote

Owerri is a very dirty slum and needs attention of Ozodimgba to fix the town. Most imo indigenes are now running to Onitsha to live and invest because it is the abroad of ndi imo state. Imo state is a failed state.

Ttipsy:
Please someone should tell soludo and his government ministry of works and environment that their attention is needed on the entrance of Onitsha just immediately after the first Niger bridge

FYA
The very section of that road has become an eyesore.
Their attention is needed right there

Shame on imo state. Ongoing Ekwuluobia flyover is better than Owerri flyover substandard flyover being built by Ozodimgba.

It's wholly wrong to develop a state through turn by turrn basis. Every Imo state governor concentrated on developing Owerri first. That has, as expected, led to population influx and urban expansion and ghettos in Owerri zone but shrinking of Orlu and Okigwe areas. Naturally, businesses and populations flee to Owerri from Orlu and Okigwe areas that are meant to wait for their turns.
Guess why we have all federal housing estates for Imo state built in Owerri, unlike in other states where the estates are distributed among thriving cities. Guess what led to Imo one city state - Owerri.

Someone should tell Uzodimma to fix the roads in Owerri. Almost all the roads in Owerri are dilapidated. Coming from PH and passing Owerri is so bad and dilapidated. Till now it is one lane from Ph boundaries to Owerri, even the one lane is dilapidated and muddy. That’s the entrance to Owerri and it is so dilapidated and dirty. Why would uzodimma start building flyover when almost all the roads in Owerri are dilapidated? Why couldn’t he reconstruct the substandard flyover built by Okorocha that has been abandoned for almost 10yrs without being used. Imo state lacks focus and direction.

Beautiful town of Oguta. I've posted it earlier some years ago but this one covers the town better.

There's nothing substandard about the flyover, it is exactly as designed and intended to serve its purpose.
You are just used to the conventional way of wasting resources in the name of wide flyovers with big risk of retaining traffic and tension on the bridge, while there are not enough bypasses along same axis.

Visit Asian countries, you would understand how they build flyovers with more bypasses like you have from new Owerri to old Owerri.

Let's assume the position of the cathedral church was occupied by a main road leading to old Owerri, you could still construct 1 or 2 overlying bridges from world bank axis as seen in asian countries

You are so quick to post 3D. Please post the pictures of the flyovers built by Okoroawusa I want to check something.

This was how you noise makers cheered Okorocha and he went on to build a substandard flyover that’s not being used today.

Ozodimgba is on the same path like Okorocha and now building another useless substandard tiny footpath, but you are here to defend nonsense.

Please stick to the argument: assumpta flyover

It is exactly as designed, for a project not even up to 60% completion

All you know is hype your slum glorified village Owerri. Look at the flyovers built by Okoroawusa, it is unusable today because they were substandard. Imo state resources was wasted in this, now Ozodimgba is wasting resources on yet another badly planned substandard tiny flyover. Why can’t he reconstruct the ones already built by Okorocha?

Owerri is a dirty slum without a commissioner of environment that’s why most imo indigenes are running out of Owerri and escaping to greener pastures of Onitsha, Lagos etc. Today Owerri is an abandoned dirty ghetto. Ozodimgba should wake up.

Thank you

Ttipsy:
The commissioner should take a visit to first Niger bridge and environs
He has so much work to do there.

Thank you

I didn't even understand what he was asking. I asked that question because we've seen those from Orlu on this thread complaining about how their LG is undeveloped

Seeing that majority of the governors are from there, I wanted to know if there is a special thing in Orlu that is scaring them from developing the area

On a side note, why the constant anarchy from unknown gunmen in Orlu? Don't they have leaders that can talk to their people? Just last week, there was a bomb blast and NYSC camp was postponed... Corp members in camp have laid several complaints about the insecurity in the area even during camping, hearing gunshots are hours during camp

If they continue this way, they shouldn't be surprised when the FG decides to relocate the NYSC camp to another LG... Then, they'll start another wailing... Instead of them to call themselves to order now o
