shams040: Also did upfront medical on the 1st, it hasn't been uploaded either even after sending web forms. We just have to wait. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by lawfree638: 8:48am On Jul 12, 2021 |
Jubileefraizer: It will be uploaded this week. IRCC has backlogs of upfront medicals hence the delay. |

donmyzy:Submit documents that shows family is well established in Nigeria and in your sop, you must make your career prospect seem very promising in Nigeria. Don't emphasize on your siblings in your SOP. @Thebolded don't make it obvious. Since you just finished your NYSC, your goal is to further your education. 1 Like |

ganiruogene:If you didn't make payment of your tuition in the first application, you should do so when you reapply. You should also consider the GIC plan. |

Enjay316: No I didn’t pay the full fees. I paid only the tuition deposit of 1500CAD. I am self sponsored and the lump sum was paid in by my spouse. I used a gift deed to explain the lump sum. |

ganiruogene:Payment of tuition fee is not an essential requirement for approval, however; in your circumstance, you're better off paying for at least a semester |

Good morn]ng Nairalanders, May God favour everyone who is expectant of PPR and medical request from IRCC. Is it true that government approved centers NO LONGER ADMINISTER THE COVID-19 VACCINE TO THOSE WHO NEED IT? Is it true that vaccination is on hold till AUGUST? What is the shortest possible time one can get vaccinated for the first dose precisely. Thanks in anticipation for a response. 1 Like |

ganiruogene: Pay your school fees for the whole duration of study if you can. Do GIC also if you can. That will resist the urge to shalaye again. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by lawfree638: 10:03am On Jul 12, 2021 |
AKANLE2: Exactly!!! that's why I advise upfront medical to save time and prevent delay. Now the available date for medical currently is around late August and early Sept. Feedback for PPR wouldn't be received till August (if the medical is processed on time) or Mid September if IRCC is prompt in dealing with upfront medical. This would have been PPR today but it wouldn't come till Aug at least or Sept. Please if you have a pending application, Go for your upfront medical to avoid delay. 5 Likes |

Good morning Honorables Wanna make an Enquiry for someone travelling to Canada Can Someone book a flight in advance on July 16th for a Flight that is to depart Nigeria on August 15? To members who recently travelled, as regards the booking for Post Covid test at the Canadian airport by Switch Health before going to the hotel for quarantine, is the test free or you would pay? If he is gonna pay , how much? |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by lawfree638: 10:10am On Jul 12, 2021 |
OmaJoe1: This is true and equally not totally true. I'm sorry for using both. It's true because an official once told me Vaccine is running low and wouldn't be a full scale till August. However, I can categorically tell you that Vaccine is available (both first and second dose) but it's been hoarded. The playbook is knowing someone that can help, at times, it comes with a cost (the Nigeria scenario). You can take the first dose today if you see a center that is administering such and in the next six weeks, then the second dose. 1 Like |

Hello everyone, please i really need an urgent response cos im not sure what next to do. Thankfully i applied for a study permit in February 26th alongside my husband and 2kids which has been approved but that of my family is yet to be finalized. With the advice of @ frankrobbin i contacted the MP for Niagara region as Niagara college is my DLI. I received a response saying that IRCC is reviewing eligibility requirements of their application ( last week). @frankrobbin please you mentioned a letter of authorization from IRCC for my spouse, how do i apply? Please gurus in the house, this delay is killing and not allowing us plan effectively. What can i do? What options do I have? My program starts in September. Please help me |
