Aircraft carriers are not just symbols bro. It is for rapid mobilization so the war can be taken anywhere and fast. For the f-35, they are not bombers. They were deigned to knock down any enemy fighter jets off the sky while the ever feared B-52 long range stealth bombers do their thing. Lolzz. Guy, the future of warfare has passed bombers and aircraft carriers. The truth is that aircraft carriers are only used for power projection by the US but they no longer intimidate Russia and China. The future of surface warfare is missiles and China has developed hypersonic missile system capable of taking out any US aircraft carrier. The future of marine warfare is submarines and, though Russia has fewer number of subs than the US but their subs are more advanced than that of the US.
