It might appear that way to and I don't blame you for it. I watched Horjberg closely; he wasn't the best player for Denmark. Varrati outperformed him in every aspect in this tournament. The only arguement here is that Varrati shook off an injury before his tournament started and he was subbed of in matches but that dude really played well.

I believe players were selected based on their performance in their positions... Dani Olmo played better than Pedri but was outperformed by Sterling and Chiesa. Schick played really well but was considered to be outplayed by Lukaku as a striker.

Why is Horjberg making the cut as a CM despite being outperformed by his rival in DM position. Not that he even played better than Varrati.

I could argue that they should have gone for a 343 formation so that Walker will make way for Thorgan Hazard cos Walker as a RB was trash

nonsense Hojberger has 0.4 key passes even though it is claimed he plays 3 more passes than Jorginho but with lower passing accuracy compared to Jorginho 1key pass per game and 89%pass accuracy 3 long balls per game, making Jorginho passing far more valuable even with 1400+ less minutes than your Hojberger who still cost Tottenham points
