Cousin9999: If you don't teach ur children to develop life skills what type of adults would they turn out to be? Or are you assuming that background has no influence in how people turn out as adults? |

In this our present world? Boarding school is big no for me. Immortality everywhere, lesbianism and gay everywhere, children so exposed to internet, Learning all sort of nonsense from the net and you won't be there to guard them. Gone re the days when boarding schools re good not now 1 Like |

XXXXTENTACION: Lmao I don't know how you come up with all these, making lame excuses for people's behavior and decisions. Are you aware people's environment aside family and peers, also influence them? I want to believe since you went to a boarding school, you have this relative experience where we're binded by the school rules of waking up early to prepare for class, or morning devotion if it be a missionary school and going to prep at night. Mind you, the rules of the school only shape the student's behavior to an extent, no one is forcing you to read, or go to class or telling you about your wrongs. That's the difference between a day and boarding school. |

BlackSan:Even though the evironment influences people but then it still boils down to the individual not everybody responds to training thesame way |

Cousin9999: What perverts? So they wont meet these perverts in college or in their places of work? Perversion that is even shown in movies and phones in the name of wokeness. is it everychild that goes to boarding school that becomes a pervert? What dis those parents do differently that their children did not turn perverts? So the best way to prepare ur child for the world is by hiding him from the reality of life and its challenges? You should train your child to hold his head high among his peers not run from challenges 1 Like |

Fedoglo: Maturity in what sense? And what do you think is maturity? Being forced to wake up early for class, ringing the bells to go pass your plate for food, only to get very little food that makes some children get too comfortable with always begging their friends and some of them might even have the thoughts of stealing. Or is maturity about being in an environment where there's no one to correct about your wrongs or how to manage your time in everything you do? Sigh you really don't know what maturity is all about. Just because you make decisions for yourself, doesn't mean you are matured, there are times a kid would make wrong decisions but they would be no one to caution him So tell me, what is maturity? 1 Like |

Day school Too stealing and hunger in boarding |

afroxyz: Boarding school is basically prison. Only the child cannot do anything to protect themselves, and they may not even understand that they're being victimized. Why would any parent want to put their child in that situation? |
Re: Boarding School Vs Day School: Which Is Better? by BlackSan: 11:59am On Jul 21, 2021 |
XXXXTENTACION: If you agreed with me then that settles it. No more excuses and don't forget they're kids, experience always influence people. |

grandlexuz: Now this is where you have it all wrong, Just because it is a missionary boarding school or it has been around for a long time doesn't mean, they won't be cultist or homosexual students among them. If you are going to give a good fact, do so with your experience and not a glorified propaganda. |
Re: Boarding School Vs Day School: Which Is Better? by BlackSan: 12:04pm On Jul 21, 2021 |
XXXXTENTACION: True but I still emphasize on the fact that they're kids, kids would always want to explore! They get curious to know the result of something. |

Cousin9999: And the child would learn to protect himself in ur house. He would never leave the house to start his own life and encounter those same things you have been hiding him from? Well done. |
Re: Boarding School Vs Day School: Which Is Better? by SUPERPACK: 12:06pm On Jul 21, 2021 |
BlackSan:Stop using a single school to judge everyone. Not all schools eat little, every student is normally assigned to a teacher as a guardian so having someone to caution you is not an issue. The more the money you pay for your child in boarding school the more the quality of life, you can't compare a school of 40k a term to that of 150k/300k a term. Same way you can't compare a day school of 2k per term to a day school of 30k per term. Class is all that matters. |

Bigredmachine:That was back then. Parents taking their kids to boarding schools in today's morally depraved world where you cannot trust even the Form Masters and Form mistresses, school guardians and other kids from terrible backgrounds is a dangerous adventure that will end in premium tears. I want to see my kids every day to be able to access their educational growth, their morals and know what they re learning daily. Boarding schools take away your kids for months, keep them in the care of people you dont really know and return them at the end of the term or year total strangers who pretend while nasty things are happening unbeknownst to you. |
Re: Boarding School Vs Day School: Which Is Better? by BlackSan: 12:12pm On Jul 21, 2021 |
yazga: I do agree on the fact that business people who have no time for their kids should sent them to boarding school but aside that, the rest you mentioned are mere excuses! Unless you wanna tell me a hostel mistress can discipline you more than your parents Parents always pay attention to their kids (except the irresponsible ones) and they give the highest discipline Being in a boarding school doesn't guarantee you academic success, I don't know of what fact you base this assumption. You can't be playing when you have exams at home If you know anything about socialization and boarding schools, then you know, there's limitation to your socialization unlike when you are at home, you keep learning new experience and even news about other people helps to enlighten the child. In conclusion, don't sit and type assumptions with facts, it is both embarrassing and dumb. 1 Like |

Boarding a no go zone for my daughter(s), but for my son(s) a Military day school is what I prefer. They'll likely come out strong and really disciplined. |
Re: Boarding School Vs Day School: Which Is Better? by SUPERPACK: 12:35pm On Jul 21, 2021 |
BlackSan:Yes. Each student is assigned a teacher as a guardian that oversees their welfare, not on one to one basis but one teacher to 10 or 15 students. Should you have any issue with fellow students, seniors or teacher you are to report to them first and they take up the case. They are just like your parents in school. |
Re: Boarding School Vs Day School: Which Is Better? by Cousin9999: 12:45pm On Jul 21, 2021 |
afroxyz: Day school is not in the home. Don't be silly. And an adult going out into the world is in no way the same as a small child or even a teen. Again, don't be silly. At no point did I suggest "hiding" the child from anything. What I stated very clearly multiple times is that a boarding school offers your child to abusers on a silver platter. Your job as a parent, among many things, is to protect your child. Even if the child is an adult, if some creep threatens them, you should be ready to f*** them up. But that's another matter. The bottom line is a child gets better development and education in a day school. 1 Like |
