Good day everyone,
I am an HND holder. Graduated with lower credit in Building technology. I plan on applying for study visa in the US. Please I will need advise on which school can I run a *POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA* in the US and are mostly the requirements. Thanks in-advance for your assistance

Try do a WES evaluation and apply to schools in your field. I believe a Civil Engineering or Construction Management is a related field. You should apply to Ms program. If you have nice research experience or internship you can apply to PhD in safe schools.

Best!

Bro, Grace comes with preparedness and prayers to your creator. I cannot take out the grace factor from here but preparedness emanates that grace.

NB, someone with full funding in most cases will not prepare and pray more like someone with no funding.

We cannot point out one factor and conclude it’s what works.

Finally destiny can only be delayed but can’t be denied, there is a God factor, thanks.
I agree. my denial last-week crushed every wisps of hope I`d been foolish enough to nurture. A full-ride scholarship or graduate assistant position may not get you a visa approval but grace will... Do not listen to anyone that says otherwise.

You may not get answers to that here bro. You need to learn how to use Google. If you ever dream of full funding pls take your time and study for GRE except you have an exceptional CGPA. There is no magic in these things... Good luck.

Assistance for? America is a relatively simple place to navigate, students also have their program assistants and ISO to help them with issues like transportation, housing, on- or off-campus jobs, visa issues, etc. I think we should encourage students here to take advantage of those resources. They are there to help them. Asking students to "please mention me here" is ridiculous. What "little" can you do for them when you are not a citizen yourself, obviously for a fee?

Lol chill for him na, assistance can be in form of one help or the other. He can help with Airport pickup or something… We one family here

If you need airport pickup, call your ISO or program coordinator, that’s what they are there for, to support you and make your first couple of weeks as smooth as possible. They do this for free! Too many people fall prey to smooth talkers here who like to help OUTSIDE the forum so they can charge you for it. They don’t know anymore than you do.

To be sincere if you have been denied severally & you are able to reflect & analyse your applications in every case you should qualify to vet transcripts because you should have some experience.

Don't be quick to judge and assume before you get facts right. I expect you to know better or at least ask questions if you don't understand. I am not hosting for money, or whatever you assume. People are picking up people at the airport, for free when their schools are within the same city or state. Hosting them at their locations (within the same state, with friends or family member) before their class starts. Different people have met on Nairaland to hang around before their house lease were signed and they could move in. You don't need to be a citizen to do this. I have linked some incoming students with family friends in the U.S even when I was in Nigeria, all at no cost.

Some of you here just have terrible perspectives about things you don't understand. If you don't understand something, ask questions like a responsible person.

I don't think you are yoruba... if you keep failing at something and you can't correct it yourself, you are not in a good position to correct it for anybody that is also failing.. you seek help from those that have scaled the hurdle...

You’re simply being a carnival barker. What is there to understand? Students should simply contact competent folks who are employed to assist incoming students. The ISO and program coordinators are charged to do this. You’re not offering anything special… neither are you equipped to help them.

I’ve lived in Texas 3 years. Texas has the largest concentration of Nigerians in the US. They are literally everywhere, schools, hospitals, restaurants… everyone should be wary of people who claim to offer what is readily available… especially when they’ve been caught using this forum to get people to pay them for advice they could get here for free.

True, you can't keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. However, if you check my view: I used the word reflect & analyze in all his/her applications which means the person has done some background work on what could have done the delay. So, your response may be referring specifically to other guys but not who I am talking about. I am talking about those who doesn't just jump to pick new dates after a delay but reflect on what they can do to improve their application the next time. Put that in place before booking another date. Even if they were delay the next time they have learnt a new thing on what they can use to improve their application after a delay.
