Thanks Spectro!

I will definitely keep in touch

Cheers

Thank you very much. I was just as silent as you when I got my refusal. I couldn't post anything. I just wanted the storm to be over. I feel more alive now.

I am very grateful for your remark. I strongly believe yours will end in praise too.

I would be happy to help, if you don't mind. Perhaps, when your notes drop.

Stay blessed.

hmmmm.. For a minute was gonna say you are even lucky.. Just one reason which seemed more like you didnt tidy your Proof of funds properly... In my opinion, You have a chance if you can address this very quickly..
There nothing God cannot do.. Someone today shared a testimony just this morning that he re-applied July 6th 2021, after his first refusal and miraculously He got his PPR today... So believe God can still do wonders even before the Fall semester commences Sept..
All I will advice is reapply and do a very strong LOE (Letter of Explanation) centered more on your financial situation to be able to sustain your self while in Canada.
Who is your the Sponsor? Family or Self?,
How long was the funds available in the Account you used?
IS the funds still in the account? Did you send your MyBankStatement slip?
Did you pay any school fees?
What is your story? Employed, Self-employed? etc?

Omg I’m typing this with tears in my eyes. I applied for study permit since November 16 2020 but after emailing for the past 2 weeks and messaging an MP yesterday, the application is out. I’ve been rejected for personal asset and financial status. The thing is that the account used had millions of naira but rejected still. It’s been years since the last time I shed a tear but today, I shed them like a little baby. I don’t know what to do right now

Loaded hollow!!!

So so sorry about this...

What nonsense!!! Why delay the application for nearly a year...

If you hadn't join nairaland and got the initiative to message MP, this IRCC (highly tempted to insult then) would have delayed more...

Haba!!!!

Pls, re fire, this time, don't do it without carrying 1, 2,3,4,10 gurus along..

Gurus like;
SuomyNona
Frankrobbn
Justmellow
Spectra
Lekiboboe
Legacy edition
Nairaluck
Raphudoh
Limitless....
Shupy

Gurus plenty....

You'll get it...PLEASE DONT GIVE UP!!!!! JUST DONT!!!

you are gonna cry again, this time it's tears of joy

Congratss Spectro. You really deserve this

Spectro:

In my previous application, there was no concern raised about proof of funds.

When I read the GCMS notes, I discovered that they had two concerns

1. Purpose of Visit
2. Family ties

I was shocked when I saw that the Senior VO stated that there was no academic/career progression.

That was obviously entered in error because I have a Bachelor's degree IN Economics and was going for Masters degree in Economics with a first class grade.

But I realized that the VO might have gotten confused because I also have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

So I did a lot of explaining sha. I wrote three different LOEs. One was general, the second was for purpose of visit, and the third was for home tie.

I paid full tuition.

I did not create GIC.

LOE on purpose of visit was 4 pages... It was exhaustive. I explained every stage of my academic stages and career.

LOE on family tie was 5 pages, I think. I emphasised on assets, parents and study plan.

I thank God for his mercies.

—I started my first semester on May 27 2021. I raised a webform & also emailed Nairobi & Lagos visa office my enrollment verification and proof that i am halfway through my first semester on 2nd of June.

—Something weird happened, on the 23rd of July 2021, a day after my medicals, i got a call from Deputy high commision of Canada in Lagos, the lady told me she was calling to ask if i had done my medicals. I was so confused because i had never heard of anyone that was called by them.

Hi demeure178,

You will eventually renew your passport in Canada close to expiry date. After your program’s completion , you can then apply for pgwp with your new passport. Hope this helps?

demure178:

Please, I need idea on this.
My passport would expire June 2023 and my pgd program start by January 2022. Which is a year program. My counterfoil date expires 2022/11/30. What can i do?
Please how can I qualify for pgwp not to come back to Nigeria? I would appreciate if you can help me out with this matter. Thanks

my sponsor is my father. I think the fault was which the money was stored because it was in an entirely another account from the one my father uses. The painful part was if i had not entered this forum, my visa would have passed more than a year sef. I'm heartbroken i swear.
I cant find the mental strength to do online classes from naija again, from the late night classes and waking up early to faulty internet. im tired honestly

Oooh, it's a Bachelor's degree.

When submitting applications for Bachelor's degree, one really has to tidy up proof of funds. Your LOE has to be detailed and exhaustive. You must focus on convincing the VO that you won't have issues with funds.

If possible, break it down mathematically for the VO.

Oh dear, so sorry about this. Sincerely, it's not fair on IRCC part to have made you wait this long only to be refused at the end.
Please order your gcms notes to see the issues/concerns raised in full detail. Then re-apply by tackling them accordingly.
Wishing you all the best in your next application.

Good afternoon everyone.
Please I need all the help I can get. I am an early childhood educator with years of experience and I have got an advanced diploma in it from a university. But my Bsc which is my first degree is in mass communication. I intended to go for a masters in in curriculum studies with a focus in early childhood education in Canada but it seems not to be possible as I have a second class lower division. I will like to know the best options that can give me a good chance with the V.O. can I go for another BSC in early childhood education? or I go for a two year PGD in childhood education as age is not on my side.I am 39.
Thank you all.
