Does Good Works Qualify One for Heaven?

Good works alone does not...

Who are we to judge? God is just unquestionable! Just do your good deeds and follow His instructions in the Bible not men's instructions, then ask for mercy

Let's hear from the Judge of all the Earth, Himself, what He has to say about this:

Matthew 16:27 (KJV)

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Matthew 25:34-40 (KJV)

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

So if the Words of Jesus, the One who paid the price for man's sin was anything to go by, good works could indeed qualify one for heaven.

Christ came to die for us,so we could be birthed into a new nature (Christ's nature/identity),after being born again our works now become Valid

Jesus Christ did not die for your sins but instead for the sins of the Lost sheep of Israel, the ones who He was sent to.

According to Jesus Christ, your works is what will decide whether you will enter into Heaven or not.- Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 - that is what will be judged on that "last day". And in other to do Good works, you must submit to and obey the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, this is what it means to have faith in Jesus Christ. There are no shortcuts as far as this.

Good works is part of it but righteousness, faith and godliness cannot be compromised to do seemingly good works.

Even an rapist can do the good but he will not be acceptable in the Kingdom of God.

All unbelievers were judged and condemned along with Adam and Eve in the beginning , to Death by perishing in the grave .I.e. return back to dust after their time on earth is done aka cease to exist - Genesis 3 vs 17-19. .

God's judgement is final, never semifinal.

God is the one who brings people to Christ. It is not human will. Anyone who wants the truth would be brought to Christ.

Many Christians were born in a different religion but God called them out, my grand mother is an example she was born and raised in idolatry all her life but before she died God brought her out to recieve christ, so those who are God's own no matter the religion or culture or times in which they were born will come to know Christ for it is God's doing.

Many people practice religion, yes, but the question is, do they indeed seek God?

Long after the crucifixion, Paul mentioned

Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

And that stands in Christianity today. It wasn't so at the time before Jesus crucifixion that is why you can afford to quote those scriptures you quoted without this understanding

Even if you have helped 1million poor families out of poverty and have helped 5 million kids get good health care, it doesn't matter. If you tell a little lie and forget to repent, you'll go to hell. Meanwhile, someone like Hitler will get into heaven if he asks for forgiveness. Seems absurd right?

The simple answer is that the vast majority of those who are of the lost sheep of Israel also happen to be gentiles, many of them unaware that their ancestors were descended from the blood of Jacob.

Indeed, Jesus Christ's mission is to the lost sheep of Israel, Israel's children who were scattered, by God, to all the ends of the earth - to every tribe, every tongue, and every nation out there.

19 I will put a mark on some of the people. I will send some of these saved people to the nations of Tarshish, Libya, Lud (the land of archers), Tubal, Greece, and all the faraway lands. Those people have never heard my teachings. They have never seen my Glory. So the saved people will tell the nations about my glory.

The lost sheep of Israel are gentiles too who have the blood of Jacob in them. And they are to be found in every nation. That is what God said make clear even right in His Law of Moses. He would scatter them, and He would, later on, gather them back when the time is right. So, as Jesus Christ made clear through His teachings and the fact that He called His followers to be fishers of men implying that He did not come for everyone, He is indeed sent only to the lost sheep of Israel, and the man standing right next to you right this minute could be one of them.

Yes but not only good works!

According to Jesus, a lost sheep of Israel should sell everything you have and give to the poor then follow Jesus.

NOPE.

The only ticket to heaven is accepting Jesus as your Lord and personal saviour.

Good works are good,they are natural principles.

But let God's word be true and every man a liar.
Only Jesus is the ticket to eternal life.
