It is possible if your rating is low.

All things are not equal b that na...and for rating to affect your trips u must b in the range of 4.50 to 4.65

If I were in that condition, my rating will be my major concern, not whether am not getting trips. Infact, I will avoid surge trips sef.

Is possible, it does happen.

Inside surge I didn't say it doesn't happen, but something isn't right if that happens, It is not normal. Davit said maybe his rating is low and I agree, that is assuming all other things like his Bolt App, network, phone are working fine. It is possible.
The last time I had an issue like that, was after I just updated d App, I sent a mail complaining to bolt, and it was rectified within minutes.

My corolla uses Type T-IV, came back and found out my mechanic bought Dexron III and topped it. Experts, will it affect my transmission?

A woman forget 850k in my car on Saturday how did this happened?

Her son ordered bolt for her from vgc to marina. He didn’t sent her number to me just gave me code to type and told me to park at the pick up gate maybe he doesn’t want me to call her mother whatever reason though.

Well, I picked the woman saw marina but told her “ma’am I can’t park around UBA oh but I’ll park inside oando”

The woman flared saying that all drivers she has ever picked always dropped her at marina UBA because her leg is bad to walk.

I said to myself wahala 1.9 surge I’ll risk it but ma’am I’ll chuck my car for UBA gate so for you to quickly get down and moved on.

I forget to add that she had like 3 bags and she also sat at the back.

Hmmm getting to marina I ended the trip while descending the bridge before UBA trip ended with 7,800 mama it’s a card trip.

Mama replied thanks she horridly get down.

Me not knowing she had forgot one of her bag shocked

It’s a long story I’ll try and go to the point…

Me got a request from same oando to admiralty thank god for life that the rider is a guy and sat in front haaa naso Gbege for happened.

Well I was getting close to Lekki Ikoyi toll naso my phone rang I picked and hearing a crying old woman voice…. Hahah mama please who’s this?

Mama: okomi please owo oja ni (it’s her goods money help me) I was like wrong number jare. Naso I end the call

Her son called that her mum was the one calling please pick it sir

Mama: please brother shebi you be Yoruba I beg you in the name of your creator with Yoruba prayers cheesy my bag is behind I forget 850k please help me I beg I don’t mind to give you something please. I replied with calm voice cos I don’t want the rider I picked to know what’s up.

Me: mama please go and stay inside oando kindly wait for me their I’ve seen your bag behind immediately I dropped my rider, I’m coming ma'am

This woman called me more than 30times at some point I lose my cool “madam it’s your money I’m just heading back kindly wait please now “ I was later mad at myself that I shouted for an elderly person.

Well getting to oando I saw the woman with all those agbero boys wey Dey pursue us whenever we come park and also that yellow chicken republic guy all of Em gathered already.

Gave the woman her bag filled with cash told her to count it. Which she offered me 10k but I told her MAAM ITS YOUR MONEY I CANT TAKE 1 kobo from that money ma and I’m sorry the way I spoke earlier.

Madam was so happy to the point she gave 5k to petrol attendant to fill my vehicle come see drama and cry of joy… grin

You did great bro. God bless you. Is really a good thing to do.

I am happy to see mindsets are now changing towards the opportunities this hussle provides.

What cheerfulgiver makes in a month is what a manager in a big four consulting firm makes (probably less the bonus). For those that will argue its gross not net, the real net that most employees can count on from what their employers pay them is probably 75% or less. transportation, dressing, managing bosses n customers and other expenses cost a lot.

About 2 years ago, there was this lady that I took to the Island for 2.5k. She she saw I was dressed for work myself, she asked for an offline arrangement for 2k every morning.

After a while of our arrangement, I got to knw where she worked and here role. Madam likely doesnt earn more than 250k, yet to keep her appearance sparkling (which was necessary for he role) n for comfort she spends 10k every week on going to work alone.

After we got comfortable with each other, I made the mistake of opening up to her on what I make driving part time n weekends (nothing less 120k in the worst months). Madam went further to check my linkedin profile to see where I worked. Madam started skipping payments afterwards smiley. Had to end the arrangement by telling her I am taking a leave of absence at the office.

Some here may not realise but what many of your riders earn in a month is not up to what a hard working driver makes in a month, particularly when the car is his.

Let's learn to be grateful for the opportunity this hussle provides to step on to greater things. A winning mindset is one that sees a cup as half full and I am inspire by what I see some drivers here doing to also double my hussle.

For the ones that will complain that 40k a week is too much, too much police wahala, they have to spend 20k treating malaria, the job is too hazardous, they need hmo and pension grin....they are people leading others to a pit

The only reason why this thread isnt flooded with people looking for cars to drive is because they do not know the opportunities here.

You see falling over themselves over 30k npower n probably less than 150k frsc job.

I wish us all well.

Honestly, they dont know and i wish they dont learn it the hard way.. Like i said earlier, someone rejected a 100k job offer from me because he prefers driving, he makes more and he's on rental.. If you think those riders you pick up everyday are doing better than you because they're on shirt and tie, with d figures i see here, then you're a joker.. Better take this hussle very seriously, because you are actually earning more than most of us in Victoria island/Ikoyi/Lekki/Ikeja...and if you think its stressful due to malaria/police/lastma wahala on d road, come to the OFFICE and see bigger wahala.. You dont appreciate d FLEXIBILITY advantage you have now, your eyes go clear soon... You wake up on ur own time and term, you decide where to drive to, you decide to park and take lunch, at any time, anywhere, you CLOSE anytime, and you decide to work or sleep the next day. Great flexibility, dont lose it.. Hustle and get your own CAR....
Read my post for the last one week, i have lost about 70k within d last 6 days, just because my office cant give me just 3 hours to quickly go supervise a proj and some boys i put on it. But you, you're making d money and yet highly flexible.. Again, FLEXIBILITY, dont lose it for peanut.. If i display cheerfulgiver dashboard for my next presentation here, more than 70% go consider resignation. Many can afford 3 corolla on their first day of resignation. He's not doing anything special from what i have seen, no be juju, just COMMITMENT. Do the time and simply get rewarded....and leave all this health ambassador to their doom, which is nigh.

This one bolt is busy doing saraka I hope their mother is not cooking something?
Do small trip make plenty plenty money.
grin grin
This one even lazy drivers smile to the bank, no be say tomorrow dem go slam us 25% commission like they did in Ghana.

Someone told me on Sunday that bolt is now charging 25% the is a driver as well.

The way bolt does her commission calculation is not good at all. Uber will break it down per trip but bolt accumulates it which is difficult for one to calculate to know how much they're deducting as commission

Lol, that's why I hardly engage in all these arguments here.
If you want to make money be ready to make the scarifices, no two ways about.
Nothing special, if your health and tools (eg car) permits you to work longer you will make money.
There's no way someone like me will drive everyday morning to night almost every day of the week and won't break down, if you say I am lazy that's your business because that's the way I weird.
Did it before, won't try it again.
According to Felicity everybody have different goals and purpose, you target 200k per week and I am fine with my 50k grin grin we good.

These are luck I'm talking about not finding one small 500k or 5m a rider forgot in my car. How much is that??.??

People have kept hundreds of millions under my care for months, till today I never meant them... So what do you mean giving myself away I only give myself away to God to use me. grin

Like you know I've partners with at least 4 people one of them was a 2010 corolla, a ghost partner I shared that experience here b4... Till today I don't know who that person is... Any driver that rents a car and after like say 1month you still have your car back that driver is a good man, why? A thief will come up with a good story of how the car was snatched or taken away from him... He doesn't mind going to serve after court proceedings for 12months because you won't find evidence but you know what? That car has been butchered and sold into parts.

So see every driver in rental as a good person and stop concluding even when you haven't tested them. We still have good people.

Why is it hard for we as Nigerians to be humble? Thats the question you should ponder about instead.

What stops you from getting the exact oil you know your car use? Don't blame the poor kazeem, blame yourself.

We want to register a car we contract it out to somebody

Formerly we want to get DL we contract it out and the person will ask for our details and passport photo.

We need tinted permit we contract it out and the person will go do fake for us

We need roadworthiness, vehicle licence, NIN, TIN so many other things we contract it to somebody who goes cutting edges and when the chips are down we start crying fowl casting blame on people whereas we are the problem ourselves.

Most of these things are things you can do ourselves but because of our bossy and colonial upbringing we prefer to send one "my boy".

It is well shall.

I come in peace o.
