hv heard much about azeez but i doubt we will get him cus spain is eyeing him too

We can if we re fast enough. We always wait for them to hit the spot light prior we go after them

We ought to lure them the way we got Iwobi.
We can lure him with the prospect of making afcon and world cup next year thats a big gamble that may pay off because the lad is good that was how algeria got Mahrez

How much do you wanna bet that those unused kits from PUMA will be sold by the higher ups in the Federation?

Nothing is out of the realm of possibility in this country at this point grin grin

Are you for real
Considering what obaseki, the governor of awka ibom have done i still dont rate that okowa

Delta state ought to be on same pal with awka ibom if not for corruption. Warri north reputed to be one of the 3 most richest local government in nigeria together with amac abuja and etiosa in lagos is still lavishing in underdevelopment, have always know deltans as the most educated folks in south south but corruption has dealt with the state seriously

Talking of Delta state , a state I am familiar with its politics I can confidently tell you that Delta is desperately corrupt. The state DNA has corruption inscribed in it. The civil service is so corrupt it 'd impossible to fight corruption in that state. It has gotten to the point where corrupt is legitimate means of making money.

The ex governor Ibori successfully planted the seed of corruption and it has grown and now flourishing. Its terrible down there. They share bag of monies in their offices like it is breakfast akara. I did court wedding in Delta and all I could think of was to just kill every God forsaken worker at that local government. We bought the bottles of wine , groudnut , crates of malt , bribe money before service fee. At the back of the building they had stacks of wines and malts as if they are a distributing company. I was enraged but my wife calmed me down. This cannot happen in Anambra!

PUMA has terminated their contract with Nigerian athletics effective immediately. They donated $2.7 million USD in kit and offered to compensate all of our medal winners. Instead, the Federation proceeded to use funds to purchase substandard kit from another supplier (as a pretext for embezzling funds of course). This zoo's collapse is imminent.

#DareOut
#SundayDareMustGo

Naim this Anazodo dey say crap all over blaming athletes and calling their protests fake?

We like to sugar-coat corruption.

See how some are calling what Kyari did a mistake, and are defending him with tooth and nail?!!!

Perhaps China dey overdo with monthly Prison Excursion. Or people that sugar are all demonic and mad. Very deranged folks.

No one should come and say This is Nigeria.

They can't even disimburse funds for kits for 60 athletes pere? 60!!! And USA took 603.

Mazi you don't have to say this twice

I schooled in uniben a school populated by deltans, i saw corruption possessed individuals i remember nadeltsu elections (scrabble for bursary money) and uniben sug elections. In all honesty they see corruption as way of life thats why a senator who has spent over 18 years in NAS could knee down before convicted ibori and beg for political blessings to be a governor

I am seriously scared should we qualify for the world cup. The problem is virtually all Nigerians have their favourite thief as a result of tribal or religious affliation and when this thieves are caught they come out openly to defend them even when the thief is busy stealing and ransacking their future

The incompetency of the sport ministry was alsp revealed during the last national sports festival in edo state earlier this year where the tournament was stopped at some point because of lack of funds and there was serious talks and disagreements between the ministry of sports and Edo state government.

I think we have had enough of political opportunist heading our sport ministry

The place is so messed up and you could get killed just because you acted like you dont like corruption. Then there is the ethnic division that goes with the corruption , it's a mess and I dont want to go there. Delta , Rivers , Bayelsa and Lagos are by far the most corrupt state in Nigeria.

Ibori has to go for that state to breathe.

And these thieves are found in every Nigerian tribe, Igbo , Yoruba , Hausa etc. For instance , those defending Tinubu are doing so strictly because of what they benefits, never for the Yoruba nation but they like the poor people from their region to believe its Igbo vs Yoruba , that way they keep the divisions intact. Nigerian youths are divided along ethnic lines that makes it impossible to fight the government as a unit.

Each kit with more than 40 items for each athlete at the embassy in Japan. Instead, Sunday Dare blocked their release to the players. As a result, PUMA has ended a 4 year sponsorship deal.

Each day, I pray for this Zoo to breakup.

Hahaha; when Nnamdi Kanu called it a zoo we wanted to hang him. I dont blame the sports minister, rather , I blame the senseless President who appointment a journalist to post of minister.

Our Olympic preparation was non existent, Rohr is coaching nonsense but we have people defending him , same people are criticizing Buhari. They country don dabaru

Ibori is not the problem of that state per se nearly all delta state politicians have corruption in their bones. You're right about lagos Tinubu have so much master that state that he is more popular than the governors he has loyalties amongst the agberos(alaye), NURTW, the politicians rich and powerful all bow to him. So much i can't reveal here

Think Nigeria is gone it will take an heavenly miracle for this country to survive we just have to make plan B for ourselves and our kids

You should cut him a little slacks, that festival falls under Dalung tenure as a minister,

Sunday was appointed lack 2019,

That sport festival and this same Olympic had same thing in common, disagreements,

While I don't know much about the festival own, the link post by Chris, had put paid to many under hand dealings under Dalung tenure,

Let's wait and watch, beside them swear for north and corruption......

Anytime, they assume any position in government, it's an avenue to fill their pockets why??

Since Eze and Olise is still taking time to pledge their allegiance to the super eagles while dont the NFF go for arsenal youngster Miquel Azeez while we keep an eye on nwakali we really need a good AM for the super eagles to compete well in afcon and world cup
we are better off bringing in some NPFL players instead of Azeez who is an academy player. Don’t think we are that thirsty

Oga the sport festival was this year was in uniben then to do something not in dalung time it was initially postponed because of covid and after the edo state governorship election it was held this year around April 2021 so the sport minister shares part of the blame
