Chimezie Metu and Coach Brown's comments on the lack of support they received from the FG are an indictment of sports administration in this country. The NBBF can kiss goodbye to any efforts at attracting foreign players in the future.

Kids in Nigeria are the ones with more leanings towards corruption

In Nigeria, whenever you are honest with your feelings, you are labeled disrepectful, Kids are encouraged to be dishonest because being honest will hurt the feelings of the older.

When you restrain kids from saying what they are feeling and what they really want, you are subconsciously telling them that they are not respected and loved. This is the impression planted in the heart of a growing child. They are not shown love and respect, and they will grow into adults not knowing what love and respect is.

What else breeds corruption, if not dishonesty, lack of love and true respect for one another..

You have a point but our problem is much more than upbringing. We don't tackle problem from the root because we don't ask pertinent questions. We ask: how can we stop corruption instead of what causes corruption. You cannot solve what you don't know the cause.

Corruption is stealing. Opportunity and poor reward (punishment) system breeds it. Same people raised in Nigeria would move to other countries and would forget about corruption. There are dishonest people everywhere but in those other places, systems have been setup to block loopholes.

An end to a glorious purpose ,
I would have loved he retired where it all begins.
I wish him all the best,
The GOAT.

Time for Barca to take d time and begin to build another great team.
They shouldn't rush to any up and coming stars in the name of replacing Messi ,
They have to start with what they have.
Gradually they can get there again.

Yes, there are corrupt people everywhere.
And setting up structures to plug loopholes exploited by the thieving class is another good way to curb corruption.

Antalyaspor have rejected an offer of 2.5m from Anderlecht for Paul Mukairu, where he was on loan last season.

Mukairu was the best dribbler in Belgium last campaign. Antalyaspor have vowed to give him a key role this year.

According to Simon Johnstone, Chelsea have rejected 3 offers from Genk for Ike Ugbo. Holding out for 5m. Salernitana are also serious suitors.

Very unfair to kwara United, they lost out. Why waiting till final day of the league before making a decision on a petition that was summitted on week 34 match day?

Well it also would be unfair to Rivers United. It's a lose lose.

I'm with you. As usual, Kano pillars tops highest points home games ranking.
Kano 1st and 53pts @ home, 8th and 11pts away. As against:
Enyimba 10th and 43pts home, 1st a d 23pts away.
Akwa 3rd and 51pts home, 2nd and 20pts away.

Akwa and Enyimba deserve their champions league qualification.

Pillars can try again next season. Enyimba and Akwa definitely deserve this more than them.
I read that LMC may grant Rivers United three points and 3 GOALS for the game against Jigawa. I hope they do, I'd really like to see Rivers on the continent too.

Pedri was purchased from a division 2 Spanish team at 5 million euros at the age of 17 while grealish was a 25 year old player playing championship football for years ,pedri spent only 1 season at division 2 football which was at the age of 17 and same can’t be said of grealish

I cannot compare the 2 players okay ,as one is already a world talent at 18 and won the best young player at the euros

After 1 season of top flight football for club and country pedri is worth 80 million euros by transfer market ,that should tel you he will be sold for nothing less than 150 million euros of Barca are to sell him

Who told you if grealish was Spanish he will be at real or Barca ,as good as Dani Olmo and oyazarbal they haven’t played for Barca and you think grealish will be playing there .

Point of correction Na grealish spend time for lower teams and not pedri ,you cannot compare 8 seasons at Aston Villa and north county which most of the time there was championship football to a single season at las palmas for a 16 year old kid .

I just knew it would be Andrew, funny guy, u never disappoint. When grealish was 17 at Aston Villa, they had promotion to the top flight. He had strong links with man utd and Spurs. And when grealish was 17, top players in the national team were in their prime. I'm not surprised, always ready to misyarn.

I like your point

Champions league experience doesn’t matter

Vardy didn’t play at the champions league till he was almost 30 but was still better than many strikers that has been playing there

Well grealish is a good player but no where worth 100 million

And yes English players are overrated but not all of them

How many of us have you seen calling Harry Kane ,sterling Kyle walker Kieran tripper overrated ?

But do you also need to be told that form and consistency keep a players value high? Dude has been at the top level for years just at Aston Villa, which he intentionally wanted to be there for the right team (and now the biggest in EPL has come for him).
Saul niguez a few years was worth close to €200m due to his contract then, 7 years contract. Which has obviously fallen (due to form) Jaoa Felix, osimhen, havertz, maguire, morata all do not worth their price tag but form and probably the potential put them there. Most of these transfers are a Gamble and most of you have been watching football for years, how do you not know how these work?

Former Flying Eagles star Adewale Oladoye has made a huge statement with KAA Gent after he scored his first goal in Europe to inspire a comeback for the Belgian club against Latvian side RFS in a UEFA Conference League clash.

The highly-rated defensive midfielder pulled a goal back for Gent in the 52nd minute after the visiting Latvian club had raced to a 2-0 lead in the first half.

He delivered a smart finish on the edge of the box, before he was again involved in the goal that ensured the home team salvaged a 2-2 draw.

The former player of Water FC Abuja signed for Gent early this year along with fellow teammate Emeka Chinonso.
